Mortification- Realm Of The Skelator - LIVE at The Central Club- August 2014. TITLE TRACK of the new Album coming March 2015
This main riff is awesome. Its pure Mortification \m/. Lord bless you Steve
Hi Lee. Steve Rowe here. Check pout our new Album Realm Of The Skelataur & it is EVERYTHING Mortification 1990 to 1996. A LOT of Brital songs both fast & slow. This was our first ever live performance of the title track & is not the way it ended up sounding on the Album. Realm Of The Skelataur will be the last Mortification Studio Album, HOWEVER, we will continue to perform Anniversary Mortification Shows. The Mortification 25th Anniversary Show will be up here on You Tube RoweProdVISION Channel in about 2 weeks time. we are still working on different camera angles. Wonrowe Vision is now my main band at age 50, but I truly believe that Mort fans will be happily surprised with our 25th Anniversary show. People who troll & tell people to quit do not understand the progression of a band over a 25 year period. The simple fact is that I present music and the Christian message in a way that seems appropriate for our audience at the time. If you have nothing good to say then maybe you should say nothing at all?! Question- Let's IMAGINE that you love running & as a kid you were a champion runner & now you run because you enjoy it. Should anyone have the RIGHT to say to you "Man you are a terrible runner these days, you should quit"! NO NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO SAY THAT! Think about it. Steve Rowe.
+RoweProdVISION What is this moronic belief system you have where you can just censor anything you don't like? No one has the right to say x or y? They have every right to say that. That it's something you might not like is irrelevant.
And what is this "if you don't have anything good to say don't say anything at all" nonsense... Are you somehow absolved from criticism? No, you're not. You sound like a petulant child here. You'd think that someone that has been in the music industry for as long as you have would've grown some skin. Then again, your primary audience are a bunch of the most weak willed gullible sheep anyway. Does it satisfy you to have so much power over them?
I used to look up to you back when I was a kid. Thankfully, I don't anymore though and part of it is because of these simpleton views you hold.
+RoweProdVISION --- Freedom of speech gives the right to say that. However, you also have the right to disagree. Mortification forever!
Please forgive them. They don't know what they are saying. Imagine them watching Mortification @ New Jerusalem Haha. Greetings from Brazil \m/
io, Mortification is a Christian death metal band that gained enough popularity to have some of their stuff released by Nuclear Blast. Your comment is obsolete.😂
hello rowe, i doubt you'll see this, but thanks for your great music and for uploading the rest of the albums to youtube, greetings from costa rica
The band didn't age well. I've read in articles that Steve Rowe has retired from music. Anyway, mortification will always be remembered as a pioneer of Christian metal.
WHAT?!?!?! WHAT?!?!?!! I heard Mortification was defunct! THIS IS GREAT NEWS!!! I was so sad this summer when I got back into Christianity and Christian Music, only to find my fave band was gone.
Lol
Wow the haircut does not go with it no more
Thanks Mal for your kind words. It is sad when people TROLL something that has been given a lot of prayer, thought & effort! I changed the spelling of the song & so that helps people see that this has nothing to do with the He Man/ Skeletor cartoons of the past. Blessings. Steve Rowe.
greetings from Dubai - Steve thanks for staying true to the gospel and metal
i am an atheist death metal fan and i haven't got any problem saying that scrolls of the megilloth was/is in my top ten greatest death metal albums of all time.(i don't give a shit, calling it life metal is fucking stupid).i had a buddy that was into the christian bands,i used to roll my eyes every time he wanted me to check out "this new band",but when i heard scrolls of the megilloth my jaw dropped.but this shit fucking blows.
song is utter shite
yea, I was only kidding, in my skeletor comment before.I hope that the other guy that said he wasn't sure if he was into this appreciates all the awesomeness that you do everyday in all the ministry work you're involved with. No worries Steve, I love everything Mort has done, & this track sounds pretty good too! can't wait for the album. After watching an interview with pastor Bob with Jayson Sherlocke, I'm stoked for his new project "Revulsed" as well! again I apologize if my previous comment/joke upset you, I hope it wasn't me. :( God bless man!
Awesome.. Just wanted to let you know Steve that I have always supported and prayed for you, your family and Mortification
Great and live in.mössingen realschule !!
it's just righteous metal. \m/
Singing about a He-Man Character? Not so into this.
I was curious about how a Christian Death metal show looks... Seems pretty boring
Maybe read the lyrics on the Album BEFORE making silly comments! This song has NOTHING to do with the He Man Skeletor. NOTE THE SPELLING! Skelataur. Read Romans 8 V 13 in the King James Bible & you may get a hint about the songs meaning. Please do not be a Troll. tiresome. Steve Rowe.
And what album is this song from? Or is it something new?
Check out the CD Realm Of The Skelataur & you will hear that we got back to the BEST of Mort 1990 to 1996! I promise you! www.roweproductions.com Blessings. Steve Rowe.
Steve, the link is not work now.
Great great song
Love the Store advertisement at the end fit in well
There are alot of factors that led to mortification falling into embarrassing metal. Poor production, poor vocals, and poor lyrics. It should of ended years ago, or it needs to be "revamped". With the bar raised so high today, Mortification has been left behind never to rise again 😔
greetings from the czech republic, central europe. been listening to MORTIFICATION since 1991. though i don´t listen anything done after ´´scrolls of the megilloth´´. scrolls is no doubt the best death metal album ever recorded in down under. steve rowe´s death metal enthusiasm left him right after that album. sad. death metal for life !!!!!
@walkingwithtretz That must have been a helluva gig
Total respeito à história do Steve Rowe e o Mortification, mas pelo amor, que troço ruim que essa banda está nesse show!
i thought the realm of skeletor was eternia? lols, :)
it's nice to see lincoln back.
these are ma boys !
good song!
From Scrolls of the Megiloth to this?!?! Damn Steve should really know when to quit. This is terrible.
Lee Wollenschlaeger Totally agree. This is an incoherent mess.
Its pretty bad. Jayson sherlock the drummer in the first few albums was extremely talented in that he wrote the tracks and lyrics to alot of the songs. After he left, the songwriting quality went downhill and almost has lyrically a "little kid" feel to it. Kind of embarrassing really. Steve might write songs but, he cannot write lyrics, and that is what led (as well as his vocals) to their, um, unpopularity now.
This was just so boring.
Pretty sad dude , the number 1 rule of metal , you need to be constantly progressing musically , the guitar player has potential but probably needs a better band for staters , Fire the drummer cause he can’t keep time properly , definitely sacked the singer , in fact get the band of stage , roll the credits 🙄
