Beautiful suite of film music wide-ranging in its emotional content. The "Troika" theme in the opening and closing movements is very memorable, while "Spring and Autumn", "Wedding" and "Romance" contain dramatic poignancy and intensity. First-class music.....

Fun stuff, but I do think there's a little too much of Khachaturian in this music. I wonder if he was a pupil?
