I use the Railblaza C-Tug. It's not quite as easy as the Boonedox but I feel like the wheels roll better. Have you called your local dealer about the landing gear? Try calling get: outdoors in Greensboro, NC and ask them about the Landing Gear. I feel like it should be possible.

@@Wevs24 I don’t really stand when I kayak so that wouldn’t be an issue. Some guy is selling one for 1200 near me with the boonedox landing gear. Is this a fair price?
$1200 isn't bad if the pedal drive is in good working order. Unfortunately with the price of everything lately it makes it harder to gauge what's fair. That said, I'd spend $1200 on one with a landing gear today if I had the opportunity.
@@Wevs24 I think I will end up purchasing it. I’ve been monitoring the market around me for a couple months and anything with a pedal drive goes for about 2k. I’m in California so idk if other states have better prices

Nice setup. I just got the pilot for myself couple months ago. Plan on getting the Manta ray next for my wife.

I'm considering buying one, but I'm 6'4, 250 lbs. Will my knees be up to my chin pedaling or will I be fairly comfortable? Thank you.
My buddy is 6'5 and he has pedaled it quite a few times. He has no complaints, but it might be a little cramped. Some seat risers might help if it is.

It shouldn't, it may make standing in rough water difficult.
