The burglar alarm one is because if you go on holiday (vacation) for 2 weeks and it goes off day one, your neighbours shouldn't have to put up with an alarm for 2 weeks.

Well they shouldn’t have to cause the police should be able to stop it or the people can ring up the alarm people and they can turn it off remotely

@@davidware9549 the only way to know who to contact is if you have access to the inside of the property and can get the number off the alarm console. There was an empty house on our road years ago and the alarm used to go off all the time. It would blare out for hours and hours. The police wouldn't do anything. Eventually a bunch of us reported it to the council and they sent someone to deactivate it.

@@davidware9549Why do people like you always have to come up with the most dumb “what ifs” or other stupid reasoning, just to be different to oppose a comment that makes perfect sense anyways? 🙄

07:52 You then use your own poop bag to scoop up the warm evidence, tap the person on the shoulder and, as they turn, you drop the uncovered side into their hand saying: "I think this belongs to you." If you are particularly polite, you may wish to slowly close their fingers around the package to make sure they don't lose it ;)

The Metropolitan Police Acts and the Town police Clause Act have largely been totally repealed. As has the Vagrancy Act. Many of the other offences mentioned are rarely if ever enforced.

in the UK......when we were kids we used to make MASSIVE ice slides, maybe 50 mtrs long down the path on underpasses. They were like glass & took about 20 kids halfa hour to make. Looking back on it now it was most likely that some old granny slipped and slid all the way down the hill :|

We used industrial plastic which held about 29 of us and needless to say it determined its own direction and ended up in the trees after a very quick build up off the South Downs (most of us ended up in the trees too, traumatic but fun so we went again and again, good old days.

A lot of these are wrong. Flying a kite is fine as long ad you don't annoy anyone. I used to work in a costume hire shop and you can dress as a soldier as long as you are not wearing genuine insignia. We had real uniform pieces with the insignia removed.
Don't go as a soldier at Hallowe'en, though. In the UK, we wear spooky costumes for Hallowe'en.

As usual from poorly researched, lazy, content spammers watchmojo, some of them are based on London specific 'laws' or just plainly wrong...nowhere else exists outside of the M25.
From the M.O.D itself: There is no general offence of impersonating a member of the Armed Forces, and many actors do so in theatre and films. It is similarly not wrong for a civilian to wear uniform or former military clothing for their own preference or entertainment, as long as they are not claiming to be a member of the Armed Forces.

Flying kites - there was ana divert when I was a child where another child/children flying a kite by an electric station, needless to say they got electrocuted. Football - there again was an advert of children playing football the football went inbetween two parked cars and, again, the child got knocked down by a car. And they still put up washing lines just not across the streets any more (did in the 40’s and 50’s) they put them up throughout the back gardens especially terrace houses.

Before watching, I'm going to guess that most of these are old or obscure law and/or laws that are rarely, if ever, enforced. Some may not even be laws any more due to subsequent legislation or amendmeny. I'm guessing there'll be about 2, of the 10, that are known of and enforced but there'll be for pretty minor offences.
Right, lets watch and see how wrong, or right, I was... :)

It's owner had poop bags but didn't even bother (it was a just tiny spot to be fair). But what I don't get is why he was taking a photo of the dog's leavings on his phone.

I have to confess to the bawdy songs one.
I remember once a group of us were on the way back from the pub and were a little tipsy (not drunk!🤔😵😁). Someone started a rendition of 'Four & Twenty Virgins', then I added a couple of verses I knew and people refused to sing with me anymore.
I think it was a verse about the village vampire walking through the woods and what he was doing with some sanitary products that did it...🧛🩸🩸🩸😁
