If anyone needs a good dualsense edge setting is use left stick digital +5 and right stick dynamic -3 for edge settings and for in-game I use 5 left stick min and 5 right stick min. 99 for left and right stick max. 6-6 horizontal and vertical sensitivity. Linear aim response curve type with a 0.00 curve slope scale and black ops aim assists and you can mess around with ads sensitivity multiplier that feels best for you and use gradual ads sensitivity transition timing.
Hope you guys like the settings.

Wow you put in a ton of work on your videos. Hope you blow up with subs man! Question. I just got the dual edge and love it mainly due to the back paddles which now allow me to jump shot easily. But as someone who games a couple of hours in mw3 every couple of days (I’m not scump😂) what left and right stick settings do you recommend for 8 and 8 sensitivity playing with black ops aim assist and about 0.90 sens mult in low zoom optics and about 1.10 on higher zoom optics?

How do you change the X RAW on the controller? Does it work on the ps5 or PC?

The RAW input is shown from the controller without being affected by apps (PS5 or game settings etc.,) yes you can get that overlay by using DSX V3 Beta on Steam.

it’s all true man cuz i realized many times ago when my ping is high (it is always high and just OK and many times not stable/gd) like 65-80 with packet loss in Battlefield games but not really in Warzone3 that Aim Assist dsnt really work as it should ! and i always say that Online Games is all abt low latency/Ping even if u have a low FPS ! all u need is pretty stable ping and ur gd to go 100% ,the only alternative (kind of) is a very gd performance in which i dnt also have it 😁 ( i play on my Xbox SS ) on a bad tv too lol
so in all cases i have Minus zero advantage lol,esp in Warzone3
btw,gaming on Ps5/ps4 is the much better than on Xbox ,better controller and feels more responsive

resolution 1080p and have a 120hz monitor and 2.1 hdmi so you can run smoothly is the max you can do

I did used edge with PS5, now i have a good rig that can handle 180fps in wz2. I tried the edge on pc. Well, make it short it's a whole different ball game. AA is pretty crazy on Pc compared to PS5. And i used the default wz controlller setup in wz. Of course it only my experience and opinion, so take it with salt.

thanks. between 65 and 70 there's about 1.48% faster AA activitation at smaller pushes which isn't too noticeable, so both are fine.

Sorry Daniel for a second comment. Just curious, you mentioned "Game Mode Service" at around the 4:45 minute range. When you mention Game mode Service, are you referring to QoS type of settings in the router? I ask because myself being on a fiber connection, with new lines, 1Gbps down and using lan find myself often times with a really large ping/latency. Sometimes as high as 150ms (which we all know is absurd). But if this is indeed not something that's built into routers, I'm definitely going to reach out to my ISP as I find it kind of ridiculous that I went from having a 13ms (on average) ping on a 150Mbps cable connection to something as high as 150ms on fiber.

Hi, there's a game service that most ISPs provide in the world and what it typically does is better routing and options to improve packet delivery for gamers and known games, for example for mine, when I buy it my ping is 5ms lower in COD to most servers and packet loss reduces to almost 0, of course, QOS is important and the correct MTU settings to prevent packet loss or fragmentation problems which I'll talk about them in a future video, about the ping, it depends on the server, the game expands the search when it takes long to find a match and it can cause higher ping, there are some routers to limit GEO so the game won't search other than close countries to you which I'll talk about that one too in a new video.
the effort and time u put in this is godlike .... can u test if fov lower or higher impact aim assist ? and in warzone since we have so many long lines can u test to see at witch distance we lose aim assist ?

Just curious, but does the Dualsense Edge still get 1000hz polling rate with a USB-C to USB-C connection (front of PS5), versus the USB-A to USB-C cord that it came with? Is the input any different? I've been using friggin Bluetooth this whole time on my Edge, only using the USB-C to C on the front of my PS5 to charge it :/ .. thanks so much for the video, bro! 🫡

Haven't tested K n M tbh, because a different hardware is needed to monitor those and I currently don't have access, but I don't think they make one worse than the other in COD.

right stick settings are a personal preference and therefore can't be recommended as bets, but I'm personally using default on Edge with the game set to Dynamic with a slope of 1. thanks 🙂

i finally tried controller just for the aim assist. It was clunky at first because its been a while but at the firing range i was able to fix my sensitivities. Controller is hard to move around but the aim assist force is strong as hell and i was lighting dudes up waaaay easier.
Its not a cross play problem, plenty of controller users on PC. It's a problem that they allow Mouse and Keyboard vs Controller.
A thing I love about halo is even on PC it's controller Vs. controller, not k.m.
@@DanielZH even playing field is what makes real competition, haven't spent money on COD since xbox 360 and it feels good because they don't deserve my money it.
You’re not wrong. COD is the only game I play. I turn off aim assist for the first 10 min or so just for the practice. When I turn it back on it feels like aimbot. As a controller player I wouldn’t be against an aa nerf. Anything that increases the skill gap.

Yes, it may feel a bit different, see if steady -5 or precise -5 helps.

Hi thanks, I'd suggest keeping the right stick on default in COD, unless you feel better with something else, for the settings I use 6-6 ADS 0.90, Dynamic slope scale 1, with black ops currently and it feels good to me.

When you use bluetooth as communication method on PS5 for the normal Dualsense do you still use it with a USB cable plugged in or completely wireless for the best input lag performance?
Hi, Both will have the same behavior, the controller only uses one at a time, if BT is set, then USB would be used only for charging or preventing the battery from losing power, nothing more.

@@ItalionStallion1x yes, as long as you don't have a BT or 2.4GHz device interfering with the controller or near the console. in most cases, it's fine as I tested, unless a device is too close to the PS5 or the controller.

Definitely wonder if there’s a way to keep 120fps more stable. Now I wonder in what other situations does fps drop. Does it drop when there’s lethals or tacticals? Does it drop if you’re shooting at someone? Etc.
Thanks, yes I will, and yes it changes based on many graphical effects, even smoke and particles, so I need to find some workaround for it.

@@crashbando2561my game straight up freezes for a frame, i tend to teleport near the vicinity of were i was during that frame and more often than not get killed bc of it. My internet is good so ik it’s the game’s fault, it goes way beyond laggy servers bc my game is literally stuck on a image for a frame then im somewhere else when its back. Sometimes it happens every 5 seconds, sometimes 10. Feels unplayable at times 🤦♂️
@SaneU_c ye, I dont have a problem with game lag. I use a gaming router and have always monitored my connection, but recently. My controller does something strange .for example, I can be locked in the centre of the screen, and it moves up on its own as if it's got aim assist . To the noob eye 👁 looks like I'm hacking .definitely the ps5 edge controller and not game

Hi, either Headphones, or Soundbar (if you need to use lower volume yet hear quiet sounds) as every headset has a different response frequency, it's hard to suggest one for all, but if the bass is not too strong, bass boost is suggested, 3D Audio is highly recommended for better directional sound!
I knew I wasn't crazy, I get insane frame drops when I get shot. Especially when I'm getting shredded by better players or meta weapons, I blink and I am dead.

Yes, it's usable almost for any game on any network... there are rare cases people use similar apps to modify network situations to take advantage in the game.

I use those for Edge, but I'm at 1000Hz, no point in 8000Hz on PC and I will talk about it in another video for PC later, 1000Hz is enough for Edge.
FYI scuff can overclock to 8000, I play at 240hz and find blackops too sticky when trying to switch to two targets stacked

if the input lag is TOO IMPORTANT to you then Edge is a better choice, otherwise, DualSense works just fine.
Goodmorning, great videos...no . THE BEST VIDEOS for information to get an edge on cheaters. I play straight up with ps5 and edit videos. What is the best graphics settings and fastest way to play for ps5? I have default everything. Defualt Controller is connected to headset with 3.5 mm jack as well. 19-22ms of latency is what I'm pulling. Also is left stick dead zone for default controller best at 60 or 65 dead zone? For some ODD reason, all the pros have switched to Default AA … biffle had mentioned it BRIEFLYYYY not to the chat but he was getting told to switch to it, I have been trouble personally getting INTO the aim assist bubble with Black Ops from longer ranges, it’s almost as if it REPELLS me away… it’s strange. I put default and I can cut into the Aim Assist bubble and get to the target it’s VERY strange I wonder what it is!
it's very hard to tell what the reason is, as even a 0.1% loss can affect AA, there could be cases where Default works better with a bit loss or jitter compared to Black Ops? I can't tell unless it's tested many times which is too hard to do stable loss on data, In an ideal situation Black Ops shows better results currently.

This might be too much to ask but A LOT of WZ /MW3 players still use a PS4 controller with the button pack. I really wish I could know how disadvantaged I am by using one! If I even am at all. I know this data can't be 1:1 for the dualshock

If you mean the voice chat, I'm about releasing a video for Warzone 3 and based on the latest test with voice chat on, the input lag is lower on both controllers, the video is coming in 2-3 days.

I use Edge with 6-6 ADS 0.90 Dynamic Slope 1 Default on the right stick and USB connection to the USB 3 port. R2 and L2 deadzone on 0 in-game and 0-1 in Edge settings.

Hi, if you have the left stick on a lower value that helps to activate AA earlier therefore right stick on 10 shouldn't cause AA delay as long as there's a movement, if you feel good about that, keep it, differences aren't noticeable to many people!

Hi, resolution and Vsync, Gsync, VRR, ALLM, HDR or SDR don't affect AA in most cases unless it causes higher input delay for controller which we tested here: ua-cam.com/video/smRW5VfpPbE/v-deo.html

you need to test the difference in RAA (the most important!) wich is the left stick aim assist on both types of AA that being default and black ops!
Thanks for mentioning, we've only done mid-range for that in the last video and they had the same results, but will do a full test for Left Stick Alone in the next COD video.
So black ops aim assist is overall better to use than default? I play on PC using a Scuf Envision Pro controller.
I tested on PS5 and Xbox (for some parts) not sure if PC is the same, but here Black Ops responds better, however, we really don't know what happens if there's a packet loss (even under 1%) or when there are multiple enemies against you (as we only tested 1 V 1) so it's hard to claim, but in the mentioned situations, yes.

Monitor? for which section? I do testings by Elgato 4K X and HD60X capture card typically and the output monitor isn't important for test results as the test is made based on the capture card delay not monitor.

@@luizfelile977 I play on 4K 120Hz, however, 1440p 120Hz is also fine, there's a myth some people say 1080p is better but we've done a lot of tests and that's not true. for monitor models, I recommend checking Rtings .com reviews.
wait a second. So if I put right stick deadzone MAX on 80 iII get permanent rotation aim assist at all ranges????? I dont really understand why right stick matter cause you can activate the same aim assist from just strafing on the left stick no?

Hi, based on the PS5 test on 60 and 120FPS mode, the FOV up to 115 doesn't affect FPS on its own, but graphical effects do, not sure about PS4 though, I use 0-69 for ls and 0-99 for rs.

No, it works the same on Xbox as well in terms of AA, but I'm not sure about PC, as PC Aim Assist is sometimes different and I haven't tested it.

Can you test if fov affects aim assist
when you change FOV it's hard to test frames and compare them as the view is not identical but that's a good point we can compare the distance AA based on FOV and I'll consider it for future videos.
Ping is king and I've been saying it for 2 years putting your left stick deadzone to 50-60 left stick only gives you better rotational aim assist/Movement 😉
Can't disagree! ping is the most important thing in every online game, especially fast games.

I'm thinking about that too, failed for PS5 the last time I tried, but I'm still looking into it. on PC it makes no point though.

@@lurkxz5426 the in-game delay doesn't only depend on polling rate, the method I use for testing on PS5 is down to 0.5ms, however in 4000Hz rate on PC the difference of in-game delay was less than 0.5ms so it makes no point to do this for 0.5ms overall lower delay, and in some cases the OC caused more delay over time...

No, it's just in the thumbnail, but all of the settings shown here are valid for all controllers for AA.
