I love all the ladies you mentioned, BUT Aretha Franklin is on a whole other level. There's really no way to compare a gospel, soul, R&B queen to symphonic goddesses. They're all fantastic in their realms.

Love her. Love her voice. Love her smile. The notes are there. Unfortunately the “soul” is missing. Classical voices should steer clear of Aretha. Oh those vocal rides. Marcela, love you…this rendition…not so much.
