My family always came off season. Late winter or early fall. Very few people and glorious weather. Not too hot. :)
I rented a condo at Shores Of Panama for the winter season, a few years ago. The view never got old. I love PCB.
this video format is much better than the "Panama City Beach, Florida | Ten Things to Know Before you Go!" video. way more organized and the chapters really helped re-visiting a specific section
Thanks! Love the feedback.
Thank you for sharing your opinion fresh off of your first visit. First impressions are powerful. I actually like touristy places because sometimes "off the beaten path" can be disappointing in its own way (as well as a hassle). Lol I can imagine how hard it might be as a parent battling requests from the kiddos to go go-carting & stuff. I'm a solo traveler so I would be visiting PCB as a true spring breaker. The condo you booked looks amazing as well, what a view. Great vid!
We loved the shores of Panama. Stayed there a couple times. They have 2 major issues in my opinion. First one being that the elevator is terribly slow. You will wait for 15-20mins no matter when you use it. Morning, night or the middle of the night. Second, the parking is terrible. Tight turns going up and down the parking deck, pulling in and out of your spot (depending on your locating) and you’re too far a way from your room. If you’re lucky enough to get a spot on your floor then you’re good. But chances are that you won’t. So if you have a room on the 5th floor and park on the 6th and you’re just arriving or leaving heading back home. You have to either carry all of your stuff 1 floor (or how ever many floors it is) making multiple trips or wait 20mins for the elevator. But for us, we book rooms with parking in the same floor. The rooms are so nice, the pool is so freaking nice and we just love it there. So it’s worth it for us. We also love Splash resort. It’s way more kid friendly but sometimes kid friendly is too much lol.
Born and raised here and part of the founding families here from a hundred years ago - I think your take is pretty spot on. For what it's worth - October absolute best time to come visit, I hope you can come back one October, rates are even less and much less crowded but weather is so perfect to still enjoy beach.
How is the water temp and red flag during October? Thanks
We spend a week during thanksgiving there every year. A lot of the nicer restaurants are closed but other than that we love it because it’s a ghost town.
How’s the weather during that time of year?
@@CapriThermilus it’s hit and miss. Some years it’s still upper 70s and waters warm. Then some it’s in the 50s
If you decide to visit again try staying at Edgewater. It has been our favorite so far. It will still be crowded but if you wait til mid August it dies down a lot! Awesome drone footage by the way!
For a good affordable spot in that area of the Pan Handle, try Miramar Beach just East of Destin.
My family finds some really nice condo rentals in Miramar. We usually book through VRBO.
Have fun.
Hey man! As a local I really think you nailed this. Glad you enjoyed your time here! Try October... its hands down the best month here. Still nice and warm, water not too cold yet and its really easy to find a slice of wide open peaceful beach. The "tranquility" time of the year haha. Shores of Panama is usually packed and has beach service everywhere. You'd maybe like something near Bid-A-Wee beach which is a half mile slice of private beach in the heart of PCB. Many houses available for rent. Cool video!
How’s the weather and water in September? Gonna be there the week after Labor Day!
I’m there every October !!! Love it .
There are lots of beach access points.
Better to stay on the Eastern end where tge Summit is. Plenty of eating spots and dont venture far or youll be stuck in traffic for an hour. And always stay in a gulf front condo.
Hey, how was the resort you chose? Would you stay at the same place again? We are working on booking our trip right now.
Between clearwater and Panama beaches, which one has the calmest water, which one is better for snorkeling, which one has the warmest water, and which one is less crowded?
I watched a fishing show based at PCB recently. They were catching Tarpon in view of the beach. It appealed to me because i could go fishing and my wife could go shopping or do other stuff in town. Is that reality or am I freaking?
Destin used to be better but the traffic and # of people there are absolutely unbearable now
Surfers are allowed during single reds.
Salty sues
where did you stay?
Hi! It was called Shores of Panama.
Next time go a mile east and stay at the Summit. Won't ever have to leave unless you wanna go eat, mini golf or go kart across the road
The summit has really bad reviews
@@vrushalipande6168 been staying there for 15 years but you can trust the reviews And stay at the motel 6 with mommy
I am not a motel 6 class @colonelreb1014. I am staying at the Calypso
And stay the hell away from Pier Park
