DJ hit the nail on the head about Elvis's genes. Alot of his family on his moms side only lived to their mid-40s. Sally Hoedell wrote a great book about this. She summed it up perfectly, Elvis was destined to die young. He could have been anything but Elvis the entertainer and he still would've most likely died when he did because of his genetic ailments.
What a down to earth man, no bull shit, no ego, no fake stories, he comes across as a totally honest and decent - real human being.
