3:13 not gonna lie this room gives cozy vibes because it’s tight quarters, but not in like a claustrophobic way I could see this being a good room to set up a base if you ever wanted to have a challenge of like living in the trial chambers

You know, I'm surprised I haven't seen more coverage of the new hammer interacting with bouncy bouncy Slime Blocks...
The Village Trade Rebalance toggle disables the Trial Chamber map locations from the cartographer, so don't use that experiment until they fix it with an updated table. It's unforunate it cannot be turned off in worlds that it was already turned on, though. :(
I would love more secret rooms in the trial chambers! Maybe a breeze statue room, like in woodland mansions

You probably covered this previously, but did you know that the Pillager Captains also drop the Ominous Potion now? They no longer automatically trigger the Bad Omen effect.

I actually got a trident from one of the vaults on my experimental survival world!
On one of my first vaults!
One of the most underrated things about the trial chambers is getting access to lingering potions and tipped arrows before going to the end

And I agree, they should add more crawling tunnels in the walls of rooms. Maybe they should add treasure rooms, full of like emerald blocks and pots, only accesible through the crawling tunnels. Or crawling tunnel mazes that lead to the hub of all the tunnels in one room with maps of the trial chamber layout on the walls, trial keys and perhaps even a hoard of ominous bottles in barrells against the wall... 👻
And yeah, more hidden rooms under grates. In the water room perhaps? Under the water in a drain there could be a little chest room.

2:19 I think I like the Idea of a version of the trial chambers just spawning wardens rarely
I was getting a 50/50 chance to get the trial chamber map or not when update first came out but it may have changed. I also had one world where i bought the map and it had an empty location like when you get an empty treasure map.
I love that they give you shields potentially the trial vaults. Its like they know you're going to break yours fighting this chamber......unless you have mending
The trial chambers, VISUALLY look SOO AMAZING to look at if you have a contected texture mod/resource pack that connects copper blocks together.

I hope mojang leans more in on the "elemental" theme, with a water and earth varient of the blaze and breeze. They could also maybr inplement the scrapped wildfire mob vote mob as a mini boss version of these elementals, that when killed would drop their shields that each have special effects, like the regular one's shield would light mobs on fire and the breeze one's shield would blow mobs back

That boss is not coming, it got scrapped, if anything they can add enchantments to do more damage to fire, wind or even ender mobs

My current survival world (Bedrock) has an ancient city that intersected a drip stone cave, it's wild
in my opinion the sculk adding further potential is a cool concept. i think intentionally making ones where you have to be really cautious as well would be harder, but have higher chances of good loot wouldnt be a bad idea.
On bedrock I kept on getting stuff like gunpowder from the ominous vaults - and the normal vaults themselves would not open

I think, on the lore, maybe the trial chamber is like an abandoned prison. That when you try to escape mobs would spawn to prevent you. Or idk, cause you got trial keys too, so no idea.

I wonder what the lore explanation is for these trial chambers. The name itself has me guessing several different things.
It’s kinda a secret room but not really, but in the room with stairs and a shallow water pool, there is a chest under the stairs. In my world it had cake in it.
In my world the stronghold spawned in the trial chamber so I have a copper and stone stronghold. And the end portal had a trial spawner in the middle

@@KarmaKraftttt 1.20.5(for Java) recently got a pre release, meaning 1.20.5 probably isn’t very far away. Maybe 1-3 weeks.
1.21 is hard to know. They usually push the big updates right before holidays in June and December, but 1.21 seems close to finished already compared to what other updates have been, as things usually added late, like advancements have been added already. But it almost certainly will come before holidays in June/July. Maybe a bit before if we are lucky.
I was about to ask. What do the different levels of bad omen do to the trial chambers ? Cuz I know it increases the chances of them spawning with enchanted weapons and more waves in the raids I imagine the same applies to Ominous trials where they can spawn with enchanted armor and weapons but I'm now hearing about longer effects? My opinion the higher the level the better loot you should get or even the more likely you are to get the Ominous key

Can you do a video on a mod? it's very diffrent for your channel but I think youd find it fun the mod is called minefortres and I think it would be cool if you make a short series on it, I have watch mosf video on this mod and no one has made a video of them beating the game using the mod the mod looks fun but sadly I don't have a pc.
Should probably add like a secret room when you first come in where there’s there is a opening cave that’s how you probably should get in by breaking it. They probably should’ve figured that out when they were doing like Minecraft live.
The durability/ damage command doesn't seem to work for armor, weapons, and tools? Anyone know how to fix that? Or do they just not work for snapshots?

If crawling is a mechanic Mojang is going to use more often I think it should have a dedicated animation separate from swimming. Even though I love the nostalgic jank of using the same animation for swimming and crawling, the 2 actions should be distinct and separate.

Actually... I kinda like the idea of Deep Dark trial chambers. Extra challenging, or at least visually unique.
Yeah it gives more of the "this place has been here a long time and nature is starting to take it back" vibes, but they really don't want it for somereason
The most secret feature is the textures of the golden heart particles, which are completely unused in the game (Just a textures)

I have found several Trial Chambers with rooms only accessible by removing a grate and crawling through a tunnel.

@@wattlesplays I found it on this seed -6598287284398752489 on Bedrock Preview at coordinates 2646 -31 -473 on the version prior the latest preview update (before the omininous vaults were added). I reloaded the same seed on the latest updated and the chamber is no longer there.

Not a huge fan of the trident being in the vaults tbh.
If the way they go about the combat update is they add unique functionality weapons to specific locations, they should make the trident a drop of the elder guardian, or have it be in the monument somewhere
