Capcom decided to make some easy money, so they recycled parts of Mega Man X5, threw in overly difficult trial-and-error gameplay, made almost everything an obstacle course, and called it Mega Man X6.
Rescuing all Reploids on Xtreme mode is inadvisable for all but the most hardcore, yet this TAS makes it look easy. Not only that, it collects everything that can be collected before beating the game.
In this run, Rolanmen1 shows off X's max potential, getting every collectible in the whole game, while Zero watches from the side and enjoys the show.
The author has provided an extra encode ( • Mega Man X6 "X only, 1... ) with item collection display and a special upscaling filter that reduces pixelization (nnedi3).

At least they toned down Alia's interruptions in this game. Her stupidity led me to die many times in X5.

Too bad a lot of people don't see the game for its OST, cause it was easily the best in the PS1 MMX game lineup

I love how the TAS kills Sigma by literally shoving shit into his mouth.
TBH using the Magma Blade to levitate and cheese the falling ice sections in Blizzard Wolfang's stage is extremely clever.

Analyzing it frame by frame, it probably had to do something with colliding with a charged Yamark Command

I once did a no-save run, armorless, on Xtreme, and saved all 128 reploids. It's very well possible without armors in their own unique ways.

I get that its a speed run but its so unsatisfying watchimg the boss die to the giga ray spam. I love it when the tas just finesses on them with movements and accurate shooting.

all the names from X5 are terrible. they had cool stuff like "Dark Necrobat" then changed it to "Dark Dizzy" and i could never fathom why they thought that was a good idea.
