A=26, after x years A:B= 7:5, after (x+4) years A:B= 4:3
let,
Present age of B= y
So,
After x year A= 26 and B= y
Ratio A/B= 26th+x/x+y= 7/5
=130+5x=7x+7y
=7x-5x+7y=130
2x+7y=130______(i)
Again after (x+4) years A=26+x+4=x+30,
B=x+y+4
Ratio A/B=x+30/x+y+4=4/3
3x+90=4x+4y+16
3x-4x-4y=16-90
-x-4y=-74
x+4y=74______(ii)
By subtracting(ii)from (i)
2x+7y=130
x+4y=74
2x+7y=130
2x+8y=148(multiplying by 2 on both side

-y=-18
y=18=age of B
