Global Defense Initiate - Act of Instinct Brotherhood of Nod - No Mercy Allies Forces - Between Bigfoot and Grinder Soviet Forces - Hell March Yuri/Epsilon - Drok, Brain Freeze The Empire - Sun Rising
Some of Kane's lines in this version of No Mercy are from the Tiberian Sun Nod campaign. Doesn't this imply that when Kane teleports away as he launches the World Altering Missile, he actually time traveled. If this assumption is true then this would be Kane's second time that he changed the course of history in the Brotherhood of Nod's favor. Tl;DR: This No Mercy remix implies Kane in the Tiberian Sun Nod Ending used a time machine to initiate the First Tiberian War again.
I thought Kane was a half god and secretly defied the gods and plotted against them, pulling the strings behind the curtain to his favor, seeing the visions based on his power, also why he can't die.
No Mercy is the only tune that appears in every C&C except for Generals. Originally in the first C&C In the credits music of Red Alert 1 As part of Approach in Tiberian Sun As part of HM2 in Red Alert 2 Approach was also played as part of the intro in C&C3 Not sure about RA3, but I guess it appears in HM3? Effectively No Mercy is the C&C main theme music
@@BlazingOwnager You might think but technically the RA2/RA3 version of the Red Alert universe doesn't contain Kane either as it's a follow on of the Red Alert Allies story, Kane never appeared during the RA Allies campaign. The omission of No Mercy from General was probably more due to the complete departure from the classic style of C&C including not having Frank Klepacki for the music.
@@colmcorcoran9295 While you're probably right, there's been people that have broken the timeline down after RA2 to basically be Soviet Victory Canon -> Ally Comeback Victory Canon -> RA2. It's muddy because they did act like Kane never existed in RA2 despite it being like the whole ending of RA1. Maybe there's only room for one cult-style leader with mad aspirations in a C&C game and the universe wasn't big enough for Kane and Yuri. Though Jesus Christ I'd pay to play a Kane vs Yuri C&C.
@@BlazingOwnager Problem is that Stalin dies at the end of the Soviet campaign in Red Alert so you can't actually place the Allied campaign after the Soviet one.
Maybe if Generals didn't use generic-themed military/cultural music and if EA hired Klepacki to do the composing, then it would've gotten a shot of having the glorious tune.
Oddly in game I had the jukebox play every remaster song and this played least once in some missions. And was all in Red Alert and I was the Allies. Oddly made me go into overdrive defeating the Soviets with overwhelming firepower.
It is almost scary how well charisma, authority and mass dynamic is portrayed in Nod. This fanatical person-cult managed to make me feel loyal to its cause while playing, despite knowing how morally wrong the Brotherhood is. Really shows how events like WW2 started.
- No longer the world be dominated! - No no... - By the legacy of these FOOLS! That old version just stuck with me, the quotes in remastered sounds wrong for some reason.
This game could be fun but I personally think that the music was more fun than the gameplay overall. This game was excruciatingly hard at times and I've been playing RTS games since I was 11 or 12 years old (I turned 35 a week ago). I bought it on STEAM when it was on sale and if I'd known it was going to be as hard as it was I'd have passed it by and just looked up the story online.
Those were the re-recorded (not the original film samples) quotes from Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey: "Just in preparation", "With the aid of my secret weapon", "No longer will the world be dominated by the legacy of these (two) fools". Klepacki decided to replace them with Kane's quotes in the remastered version.
Yes. As part of the Remastered edition, in addition to the classic tracks available in high quality, there are also several tracks Frank Klepacki re-recorded in the studio with the Tiberian Sons for the remaster.
It was a inspiration of The Wall from Pink Floyd, not a ripoff. Come on, don't say like that. Show some respect. If I see one more comment like that, I'm going to write you a ticket. Gosh, this is why UA-cam comment nowadays aren't funny anymore.
