I'm so glad I noticed you covering this. I just got this last Friday and my wife and I are loving it. I expect this to become one of our evergreen games with the co-op and variant competitive 2 player. Quite the brain burner to overcome Contrarius!
I was so-so on Concordia when our group first played, but the ability to team up and play 2v2 (or in this case 2v0) really highlighted a lot of the cool player interactions that were already great in the base game.
35:34 If I understand the turn structure correctly, that was Jen’s turn, on which she played Mercator. You used Legatus for Jen to play Prefect on your turn, then she played Mercator on her turn.
What happens when you play Tribune and Contrarius does not have any specialists (flipped or otherwise) to build a house? Do we just skip that step and just go to "Takes 1 colonist or 1 card" action?
32:33 I’m looking at the city names, and they do not all have unique starting letters. (You can still alphabetize even if the starting letters are not unique.)
well, solitaria works with every other expansion that has come out so far, and the salsa expansion is the most important one since it adds salt resource and the forum tiles, so i'd go with that
@@icyskater9607 Also, depending on the player count look into getting other maps. My favourite pack is Aegyptus/Crete which has 2 maps that work great at 2 & 3 players, the most common count for me.

correct... note added thanks
Rahdo : "I may have messed that up. Check the Klingon subtitles, Paulo will correct me."
Me: "But there are no Klingon subtitles!"
whoa look at that! hmm, will have to investigate, thanks for the heads up!
ok should be fixed now
@@rahdo Hey, there they are.
been playing a ton of the digital version wow so good. now what would be the bees knees would be the same model in space
Where did you get that board? I just got it and yours is different. Yours has the new minimap in the top right. Otherwise it's the same though.
it's a map that came with the salsa expansion IIRC

Nevermind, Rahdo did explain it around the 30th minute that your supposed to start with a specialty card as part of Contrarius deck
Im assuming that i can incorperate
The salsa expansion so i can use the salt with this coop version of the game?
yup, all existing concordia stuff works with this new expansion :)
@@rahdo thanks 😀

ah i guess i should have looked closer. and yes of course you're right, you could still alphabetize if half of the cities were starting with A :)
Klingon subtitles are not up yet?
oops, forgot to his the "publish" button. should be fixed now, thanks for the heads up! :)
Can anyone please recommend other expansions to be used along with this expansion?

@@rahdo Thanks! I'm going to get Salsa and Solitaria.
