Having no positions is especially beneficial to someone like Yeonjun. He's a good singer and rapper at the same time. I couldn't imagine his vocals being put to waste if they had a fixed position. I'm also glad that there's only 5 of them. Less members, more parts for each of them. Yeonjun takes the rap and also can take part on the vocals of the song and vice versa with the other members.
absolutely, I think TXT is like the only group I'm a fan of where unfixed positions work. In Loona and Kepler for example, it is very hard to actually figure out what the members are meant to be doing. The difference here is that as a smaller group, they can show off what they can do better. Same goes for Mamamoo too i guess. I feel like the main rapper in many groups is the most well rounded, but as they're the top in rap, they mostly get stuck doing that, so I'm glad we see Yeonjun show all his sides
also all of them being singers allows them to have songs without unnecessary rap parts. often in kpop they put rap verses in songs where they don't fit and it can be really jarring.
I think Taehyun's the only vocalist of 4th gen who can sing in that raspy-rock tone followed by high notes .. what I found truly shocking is he can even sing so good in low and soft songs which I did not expect at all .. and yeonjun my goodness him being the main rapper type sings so good using different styles

Yea, I can't brain when people always place them in last place for vocals. There's never a group that does this much of vocal techniques.
I'm in love with their falsettos here especially beomgyu and soobin.
Beomgyu tho I never expect that kind of falsetto from his deep voice.
Kai's vocal range, voice color and just overall delivery is so so charismatic and amazingly good. I fall in love everytime I hear him and it's no surprise he sounds so similar to the original track. A true musical prodigy 💗

Yeonjun singing 20 cm live is the reason i became a txt fan. He has always been a great vocalist but his voice colour makes him stand out in a way kpop singers rarely do.

Agreed. His voice is very different and unique. All the guys are quite unique and really make TXT stand out from other groups that can all sound very similar.
Kai's voice is my favorite. His voice is just so gorgeous to me, there's something about the fullness of it that gives me shivers.
Kai has impressed a lot of people not just this cb but for a really long time, he's my bias and one thing I really adore is his beautiful crisp voice. I loved your opinions on his and Yeonjun's voice because I honestly think the same ^^
Yeonjun is one of the best vocalists I have ever heard before in my life. His tone, voice quality, range, everything is just versatile and perfect.
Thank you for pointing out about Beomgyu's confidence and tone! I think you're spot on! Beomgyu (and also some anti knetz) has been pretty open about his confidence or skill compared to his members and I think that shows but he can TOTALLY hit those notes beautifully and I think as their success and talent grows he'll realize that and hit his full potential. As a Beomgyu bias I'm soooo excited!!!! :)

He has the shortest training time so it's understandable that he's behind. Beomgyu also has a bit of a lisp and it might make him overly concious.
I know we want to hear more of him, but I'm also glad the company does not push him into space that he's not comfortable with.
@@dagmarbubolz7999 confidence needs to be built slownly, especially if there is something like lisp, which can make him self concious. I believe he will get tons of support from his members and slowly build into a super grown and confident singer :)

Loved your reaction ❤️ . You got Taehyun and Soobin mixed up it's okay. Yeonjun always been a great vocalist but for most title tracks rap parts goes to him that's why there's less vocal parts for him , but can hear his vocals well in their other b-sides like this one.

Yeonjun's voice is beautiful, the fact that there are no positions in the group gives the possibility for the boys to explore and take more risks when dancing, singing or rapping.
Yeonjun can be consider as one of the most best and unique vocalist in kpop. He isnt BLT for no reason

taehyun’s voice is extremely underrated and im not sure why . its the entire reason i chose to actually listen to kpop it just stands out to me
I started paying attention to TXT because of Taehyun's voice in Tinnitus and 0x1=Lovesong. It stood out.
yep. i dont really like how rap is kinda forced in a song just because the rappers cant sing. YJ here is proficient at rapping and yet is very good with vocals.
I vividly remember needing to learn about TXT after being starstruck by Taehyun in 20cm live 🥹

soobin’s falsetto is my favorite🥰
I firmly believe some groups do very well with raps like treasure, nct and ateez, bc their style of music is more towards hiphop and it just fits the group's "colour". But other groups dont exacly fit in these themes and I dont personally think they gain something with the rap parts, for the contratry I believe they lose something. That's why I also love when groups dont have this fixed positions, bc TXT for example they put raps in songs that it will work but dont put in others bc that's not the vibe of the song
love to see people praise kai for his vocals! he has always been a great singer and I think bighit should give him more space to be more versatile than always getting him to sing the chorus everytime but even if he does he still shines a lot and not many people will admit that
i personally think if beomgyu was given more lines, he may be more confident. like yk, to make him realize he is worth to listen and he is enough. to give him more courage. also i am definitely, %100 in a pure love with his voice (katriinka pls do analysis on beomgyu covers!). all im saying is he maybe can use a lil bit pushing like everyone needs sometimes, because i feel like we haven't seen everything he can do or he hasn't had the chance to show us.
yes definatly! i know this is not bts but back then jin used to also struggle with a lack of confidance in his voice which was a result from fewer lines. But when he got his first solo song "awake" and he sung it a lot for their tours everyone started seeing a lot of improvement in his voice and confidence. Now beomgue and jin do not have the same kind of voice but what i want to say is that beomgyu really needs more line that fit him and or explore ihis voice more. Maybe a solo or duet that he can continuously perform to get more experience
When it comes to confidence, Yeonjun has a lot 😄 Beomgyu is very talented, they should give him more higher notes. They all sound amazing ❤️
They give them higher note.....bighit make each member sing each part of the song...they just chose the ones who did it the best. The creator just explained that beomgyu just need more training and confidence,the more he perform the more he will get more confident in his abilities. Bighit is not different from others companies,they will not give beomgyu a high note to end up messing up his part when he sing live, it's different to sing in a booths and infront of many people live.
@@skdoremi6666 that's not what the reactor said, but Beomgyu's ability isn't bad. His voice is just different and sometimes he has to adapt his voice to the others, but it's different from what you are saying. Then, it's true that there are many lines that would suit him a lot, but they prefer him to have less lines and sometimes not in his natural range (this is disproving your assumption). Whatever is the reason, it's what happens and they obviously have official positions even if they haven't been shared with the audience. During their encore stages this year he has been one of the most confident and stable, another time disproving your wrong assumption.

I didn't understand the whole part about Beomgyu "being a baby" . He doesn't lack in confidence because of his skills, but because of the amount of lines. His voice is different and differently from Soobin, he doesn't usually sings higher than his natural range. That's why he has overall less lines, but his tone is pretty unique even if he isn't clear in his falsetto. In that case I don't think he was lacking in confidence. His lines are really iconic. During this cb he has been one of the most stable and confident during the comback show and their encore stages. He should sings more, especially parts that would suit him naturally (there are many of them in this cb even if he doesn't sings them), but we shouldn't forget he sings beautifully and day by day with more confidence even if he is the one who is adapting his voice at the group style.

@@starlite156 I think she wanted to say "shy as a baby" because according to her he lacks in confidence as singer. I totally disagree because the only thing he lacks is lines, especially in song that he would suit a lot (in general he is the one who has to adapt his voice for the group).
This is just het opinion. You don't have to argue like this. I also have many things I don't agree with her but what can you do? She is a professional vocalist. Many professionals say Taehyun is the best vocalist but here she is saying he is the base with Gyu. I don't agree with her too but let's try to be nice.
I understood when she said a baby cuz I really think he lacks confidence, when you watch encore stages or any other performances you can tell that his voice comes out more quiet than other members' voices, but it does not mean that he's a bad singer or else. I like his voice but he just needs a confidence, that's all.
@@kkm401 his voice came out softly because it's softer and lower and he usually adapts his voice at their songs. During the encore stages he was really confident and during rockin eve he was really stable.

I know probably many people tried to help you with the pronunciation of their names, but maybe you haven't seen this way yet. Yeonjun - Yon-jun, Taehyun - Te-hyon, Soobin - Su-bin, Beomgyu - Bom-gyu and Kai is Kai, but his full name could be like this - Hueningkai - Hyu-ning-kai. Hope that helps ^-^

Lovebites! Not at all like TXT, but so much talent. So much. One of their lead guitarists is actually a classical pianist, which you'll hear used in some of their songs to brilliant effect. I can't recommend them highly enough. Live though - live is always the most fun to see, and they are really, really good live.

I love TXT! For me, their songs are all good. The vocals of the 5 members really go well together and I agree that having no designated positions allows them to showcase their talents more. It helps them to improve and grow.
I recommend another TXT Japanese song for you to listen to and make a reaction video, RING...

Would you believe that Kai is actually the baby in this group? He and Taehyun are the youngest. Beomyu is the middle child, then Soobin, and Yeonjun.
I worry for Taehyun's posture when he sings, too; it stresses me out when I watch him aha. I hope he's protecting his instrument.
This song is my favorite on the album. I love it so, so much--the melodies, the production, the composition, the instrumentation, the lyrics and message...it's like they wrote a song trying to cater to my personal tastes. And this live band version is just so good.
TXT's flexibility is a powerful strength. I think it's no surprise that more groups after them have started to give up the idea of positions.
For pronunciation, btw, the "eo" in Beomgyu and in Yeonjun are the same vowel. So the vowel you're using in Yeonjun's name is also the one for Beomgyu, more open and less nasal. And Taehyun is closer to the "ay" sound in "Hey!" than the vowel in "eye." I hope that helps; I know it can be frustrating trying to get these pronunciations from written text when there's so many English accents.

I don't like any positions, because just like the Korean beauty standards it lock peoples expectations rather them just openly experiencing something. I have read comments like "xyz shouldn't sing that and that lines" because the artist doesn't have the main singer position, and I'm like what?! If it sounds good and fits the song, why caring about positions. Or "xyz is the center, so that idol needs to be in the middle of performances more". Like, no.

I've been following ur videos for a while now and i would like to see u react to DAY6 they are known as the band which doesn't have any bad songs and they produce & play their own songs. All of them can also sing besides playing instruments. Their voices and techniques are very different from each other which gives them variety. And they put their everything when they are singing & playing, their songs make me tear up eveytime i hear them. Their lives are so much better. Thank you! Soobin has other variations in his voice other than the low ones (which he is incredible in) and Im a sucker for the huskiness he shows in some points esp while dancing sugar rush ride and him and beomgyu mostly follow each others which is a bless to my ears 😭😭
