It's called a 'glider', but it feels like rocking. Very smooth rocking motion :)
I’m about 5’3”, does your feet comfortably reach the floor when you sit in it? I’m finding that a lot of chairs are slightly too tall where my feet dork fully touch the floor. Thanks!
I’m 5’3” as well, and yes my feet touch the floor comfortably!
Have you had any issues with the mechanisms not working? A lot of the reviews say it stopped working after 3-4 months

is there a way to lock the chair in place so it doesn't move??
Reclining the chair does limit the gliding motion, so that once you're reclined 3/4 of the way, the chair will no longer glide/rock.

I really thought this could rock automatically as it's powered. It DOESN'T.
Oh yes, you’d have to rock with your feet like a traditional rocking / gliding chair. Power is for the reclining.
