It’s weird how I also was listening to the book of Hebrews and Paul was talking about Melchizedek and a few hours later this pops up in my recommendation....interesting.
It is indeed reality. And we who believe in Christ need to prepare for His coming and changing the age from the church age to the age of the millennial kingdom of 1,000 years. Out of the great quantity saved He will reserve quality overcomer and victors in the Spirit to co-reign with Him. It certainly may occur in our lifetimes. We need to open up our personality to the filling of the Holy Spirit and transformation into His image. (2 Cor. 3:17,18).

Possibly the “v V” symbols carved into the earthen floor is part of the bracing for the threshing floor. Fascinating archeological discovery. All of this symbolic for the plan of salvation. I believe because we are in tend times, God is allowing these finds to help those skeptics to come to Christ before it is too late. He is God of grace not wanting any to perish.

Melchizedek is not mysterious, he was an important personage in the worship of Almighty God in his time, the person with the authority to whom others besides Abrham would have paid tithes! Melchizedek received his authority to preside from another figure, currently unidentified, in the manner not described in the Bible before Jesus Christ authorized His apostles!

Purple and pink are better suited words for the skin tones then we have yellow green orange and red. Many more colors and tunes unseen or heard by man. This was Fantastic-your artist depictions were great(terrain and all). Actually made me quite emotional(and that is saying something). I knew parts of this story but only parts. The bishops of that time did not longer agreed on Gods teachings. Therefore authorety and the keys was drawn back to God.
His eternal priesthood is a type of the eternal priesthood of Jesus. It is proposed by some that Melchisidec was actually Shem, the son of Noah, whose bloodline records had to be destroyed to save him from being killed. Like Abraham had to be hidden to keep him safe from Nimrod. These stories are written in Enoch and Jasher. Very interesting and food for thought and meditation in the scriptures.

So glad that you picked up on God's glory. John 17 states that Jesus walked with God's glorry to complete His earthly fulfillment of prophecy, then Jesus lent the glory God had given Him to the believers for us to complete our directives. God said He gives His glory to no man, but Jesus lent the glory to us. Reminds me of Samuel's mother lending her son to the priests every year. (though in no way as important.)
The signs on the floor v shaped etc. Are almost certainly used for skinning the sheep goat offerings. The markings on the floor were used to insert standing frames on used to hang the animals on upside down in order to facilitate the skinning of the animals . I used to work in a slaughter house so these I feel are similar to the skinning frames.

I read Hebrews 7:1-28 and Using the two OT references to Melchizedek (Gen. 14:18-20; Ps. 110:4), Heb. 7 explains the superiority of Christ’s priesthood to that of this unique high priest, who was a TYPE of Christ in certain respects (Hebrews 5:6). Chapter 7 is the focal point of the epistle to the Hebrews because of its detailed comparison of the priesthood of Christ and the Levitical high priesthood. Heb. 7:1-2 Gives a summary of the account of Melchizedek in Gen. 14:18-20. In Heb. 7:3 The Levitical priesthood was hereditary, but Melchizedek’s was not. His parentage and origin are unknown because they were irrelevant to his priesthood. Contrary to some interpretations, Melchizedek DID HAVE A FATHER AND MOTHER. The ancient Syriac Peshitta gives a more accurate translation of what was intended by the Greek phrase: “whose father and mother are not written in genealogies.” No record existed of Melchizedek’s birth or death. Since the Melchizedekan priesthood is superior to the Levitical priesthood (vv. 1-10), Christ’s priesthood is also superior to the Levitical priesthood, since Christ’s priesthood is Melchizedekan rather than Levitical. I must say that this was remarkable story.
Excellent explanation but it begs the question: what happened to this Priesthood and who has it today? The answer is this: After the original twelve apostles and the early saints died, the church that Christ established during his ministry immediately began to drift toward apostasy because the simple and precious gospel truths Jesus taught had been corrupted in a few decades and then completely lost. The Melchizedek Priesthood was also lost because there was no man worthy of that Priesthood. Therefore, both the fullness of Christ's Gospel and his Priesthood, or the Melchizedek priesthood, were lost from the earth for two thousand years until, in 1830, God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ, personally visited the earth and called a modern day prophet to restore all things to their proper order, and to return the keys of the Melchizedek priesthood to worthy men. That prophet was Joseph Smith, and under Jesus Christ' direction he restored His Gospel and reorganized His Church; The fullness of the Gospel or Christ and the keys of His priesthood are today on the earth again, never to be taken away, and the church that proclaims that good news is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint.

How can Melchizedek be Jesus if he is “resembling the Son of God”, be “in the order of Melchizedek”, and be “ANOTHER PRIEST like Melchizedek”? There is a Temple in Heaven with an altar and an Ark of the Covenant. The earthly Temples and Tabernacle were replicas of the real Temple in Heaven. Is it possible that Melchizedek serves as Priest in the Heavenly Temple and was on earth as a “Watcher” during the time of Abraham?
@@dbf876 Melchizadek was not Jesus the Christ at that time. Just as he was not The Christ when he walked between the animal halves that Abram laid out and was put into a deep sleep. It's not hard to fathom that a limitless God, who makes his presence in many forms to men, would dwell in the land among men in the embodiment of a priest. Who, "had no father and no mother, without descendant, having neither beginning of days nor end of life" Hebrews 7:3. No mortal man has those credentials.
It seems to me that Job of Uz, a town named after Shem's grandson, could have made pilgrimage to Salem as well and this Temple may have very well been tied into his faith in the only living GOD.
Salem is not a place on the earth. Melchizedek is called King of Salem, that is King of Peace. (Hebrews 7:2) It's experienced in our souls when we acknowledge Jesus as our peace in this world of trouble. Jesus met Abraham after the war of the Kings. (Genesis 14:18) He was the high priest at that time. The Talmud has stories that don't match the Bible.

There are three V’s in the floor. I speculate each V would support two vertical wood walls. The cattle or sheep would be placed head first and tied there awaiting sacrifice in the other room. The animals would not be able to see anything except the walls inches in front of them. Three is significant for the triune Godhead.

I have always been amazed about this Biblical character. Priest of the Most High God. We know that there were worshipers of the Most High in the ancient record of the Scriptures. Job worshiped the Almighty, but wasn't a Hebrew nor were his friends in the narrative. Job probably lived around the time of Abraham or even before then. God always had a people even if it was only one man like Noah in his day. Lets remember Enoch who was taken to glory by God and who lived way before Abraham. These histories are so interesting to me.
From the beginning it was always his plan to save all the children of earth who would believe in Him. He chose Israel as a special people so that as a people they would be for his Glory so that all other nations might look upon them and find God.

Book, chapter and verse please. Rico Cortes, who is also Messianic, has a three hour teaching on how this view CAN’T be true. He even gives a challenge to provide evidence for this view. Seems like a humble man that is willing to take down his teachings whenever he says something that he finds out to be wrong. He’s a believer in Yeshua, as I am, but he’s done many many years on temple study. I’d love to see how you come to this conclusion. Whilst it is true that in Christ, we are made kings and priests to God, there is only one person to whom the Melchizedekian Priesthood refers to, and we find that in Psalm 110:4 Melchizedek was the Divinely Appointed TYPE.....Christ Jesus is the FULFILMENT of that type. Christ, and Christ alone.
I was under the impression this temple is a different kind of Temple which was built long before God created the Levitical preisthood in the wilderness after the Exodus and long before the ark of the covenant existed. A different kind of Temple-possibly used by Melchizedek. I tend to believe Solomon's temple and the rebuilt 2nd temple were situated on the temple Mount after watching a recent video on the subject by UA-camr Nelson Walters. - very interesting video where he goes over new evidence he has come across

But Christians should not confuse this with being of Yahweh Himself as Solomon brought in many foreign wives and it is these wives that reintroduced much paganism and Baal/ Molech worship from their lands into Jerusalem. From the Bible Chronology as I understand it, Shem and Melchizedek were contemporaries. It is even likely that Shem convinced his brother, Ham, over in Egypt, to build the Great Pyramid. Internal markings in the Descending passage and the star alignment of the Descending Passage with Alpha Draconis between the years 2170 and 2140 B.C. indicate that this was the period of time that it was built. Shem was alive at that time. Abraham was born shortly after that, in 2120 BC.

Resembling being the key word here. There are only two people in Gods Word that hold the title of King and priest. Jesus and Melchizadek. You can also see in this one verse how they differed from each other. Jesus the SON of God had a Father, God, and He also had a mother,Mary. and as an aside but very relevant. King Saul when he stepped in for Samuel as priest in 1 Samuel 13:13 and lost his kingship to David. The foolish thing that Samuel spoke of was that Sual had put both titles on himself ,king and priest. Read chapter 13 in first Samuel. Or better still read the whole book. I found a book that tell us who Melchizedekean was, and he was absolutely the founder of the city of shalom, and the Melchizedekean "priesthood" referencede within the writing of Abraham as the Church of the Firstborn. So glad that you picked up on God's glory. John 17 states that Jesus walked with God's glorry to complete His earthly fulfillment of prophecy, then Jesus lent the glory God had given Him to the believers for us to complete our directives. God said He gives His glory to no man, but Jesus lent the glory to us. Reminds me of Samuel's mother lending her son to the priests every year. (though in no way as important.)
The signs on the floor v shaped etc. Are almost certainly used for skinning the sheep goat offerings. The markings on the floor were used to insert standing frames on used to hang the animals on upside down in order to facilitate the skinning of the animals . I used to work in a slaughter house so these I feel are similar to the skinning frames.

I read Hebrews 7:1-28 and Using the two OT references to Melchizedek (Gen. 14:18-20; Ps. 110:4), Heb. 7 explains the superiority of Christ’s priesthood to that of this unique high priest, who was a TYPE of Christ in certain respects (Hebrews 5:6). Chapter 7 is the focal point of the epistle to the Hebrews because of its detailed comparison of the priesthood of Christ and the Levitical high priesthood.
Heb. 7:1-2 Gives a summary of the account of Melchizedek in Gen. 14:18-20.
In Heb. 7:3 The Levitical priesthood was hereditary, but Melchizedek’s was not. His parentage and origin are unknown because they were irrelevant to his priesthood. Contrary to some interpretations, Melchizedek DID HAVE A FATHER AND MOTHER. The ancient Syriac Peshitta gives a more accurate translation of what was intended by the Greek phrase: “whose father and mother are not written in genealogies.” No record existed of Melchizedek’s birth or death. This is quite a contrast to the details of Aaron’s death (Num. 20:22-29). resembling. Literally, “made to be like”; this word is used nowhere else in the NT. The implication is that the resemblance to Christ rests upon the way Melchizedek’s history is reported in the OT, not upon Melchizedek himself. Hebrews 7:4-28 This section presents the superiority of the Melchizedekan priesthood to the Levitical. The major arguments for superiority are related to the receiving of tithes (vv. 2-10), the giving of blessing (vv. 1; 6; 7), the replacement of the Levitical priesthood (vv. 11-19), and the perpetuity of the Melchizedekan priesthood (vv. 3; 8; 16-17; 20-28).

In Hebrews 7:9-10, an argument based upon seminal headship, the writer observes that it is possible to speak of Levi paying tithes to Melchizedek. It is the same kind of argument Paul employed to demonstrate that when Adam sinned we all sinned (see notes on Rom. 5:12-14). In Hebrews 7:11-28, this section the argument is extended a step further. Excellent explanation but it begs the question: what happened to this Priesthood and who has it today? The answer is this: After the original twelve apostles and the early saints died, the church that Christ established during his ministry immediately began to drift toward apostasy because the simple and precious gospel truths Jesus taught had been corrupted in a few decades and then completely lost. The Melchizedek Priesthood was also lost because there was no man worthy of that Priesthood. Therefore, both the fullness of Christ's Gospel and his Priesthood, or the Melchizedek priesthood, were lost from the earth for two thousand years until, in 1830, God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ, personally visited the earth and called a modern day prophet to restore all things to their proper order, and to return the keys of the Melchizedek priesthood to worthy men.
That prophet was Joseph Smith, and under Jesus Christ' direction he restored His Gospel and reorganized His Church; The fullness of the Gospel or Christ and the keys of His priesthood are today on the earth again, never to be taken away, and the church that proclaims that good news is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint.

How can Melchizedek be Jesus if he is “resembling the Son of God”, be “in the order of Melchizedek”, and be “ANOTHER PRIEST like Melchizedek”? There is a Temple in Heaven with an altar and an Ark of the Covenant. The earthly Temples and Tabernacle were replicas of the real Temple in Heaven. Is it possible that Melchizedek serves as Priest in the Heavenly Temple and was on earth as a “Watcher” during the time of Abraham?

(Genesis 14:18) He was the high priest at that time. The Talmud has stories that don't match the Bible.

I have always been amazed about this Biblical character. Priest of the Most High God. We know that there were worshipers of the Most High in the ancient record of the Scriptures. Job worshiped the Almighty, but wasn't a Hebrew nor were his friends in the narrative. Job probably lived around the time of Abraham or even before then. God always had a people even if it was only one man like Noah in his day. Lets remember Enoch who was taken to glory by God and who lived way before Abraham. These histories are so interesting to me.
From the beginning it was always his plan to save all the children of earth who would believe in Him. He chose Israel as a special people so that as a people they would be for his Glory so that all other nations might look upon them and find God.

Those markings look like compasses. The higher priesthood that Christ held is called “Melchizedek” to avoid the overuse of God’s name. It is the priesthood that is without mother or father, not Melchizedek himself. There are two divisions in the priesthood, the Aaronic and the Melchizedek.

Book, chapter and verse please. Rico Cortes, who is also Messianic, has a three hour teaching on how this view CAN’T be true. He even gives a challenge to provide evidence for this view. Seems like a humble man that is willing to take down his teachings whenever he says something that he finds out to be wrong. He’s a believer in Yeshua, as I am, but he’s done many many years on temple study. I’d love to see how you come to this conclusion.
I understand we’re disciples of Yeshua, and we’re to be a nation of priests, but to say we are also now ALREADY (or in the future) from that same order could be borderline encroachment. Melchizedek was the Divinely Appointed TYPE.....Christ Jesus is the FULFILMENT of that type.

I was under the impression this temple is a different kind of Temple which was built long before God created the Levitical preisthood in the wilderness after the Exodus and long before the ark of the covenant existed. A different kind of Temple-possibly used by Melchizedek.
I tend to believe Solomon's temple and the rebuilt 2nd temple were situated on the temple Mount after watching a recent video on the subject by UA-camr Nelson Walters. - very interesting video where he goes over new evidence he has come across

But Christians should not confuse this with being of Yahweh Himself as Solomon brought in many foreign wives and it is these wives that reintroduced much paganism and Baal/ Molech worship from their lands into Jerusalem.
This itself was at the core of the problem and warning that God gave to Solomon. For it wasn’t having 700 wives that was the issue as many perceive. Instead, it was their foreign gods and manner of worship that they brought with them that met God’s disapproval.

From the Bible Chronology as I understand it, Shem and Melchizedek were contemporaries. It is even likely that Shem convinced his brother, Ham, over in Egypt, to build the Great Pyramid. Internal markings in the Descending passage and the star alignment of the Descending Passage with Alpha Draconis between the years 2170 and 2140 B.C. indicate that this was the period of time that it was built. Shem was alive at that time. Abraham was born shortly after that, in 2120 BC.

King Saul when he stepped in for Samuel as priest in 1 Samuel 13:13 and lost his kingship to David. The foolish thing that Samuel spoke of was that Sual had put both titles on himself ,king and priest. Read chapter 13 in first Samuel. Or better still read the whole book.
