I did not find Wolf's shot so impressive until I realized that he did it with the left hand while being righthanded.
That, plus the way he’s holding his racket 🤪
@@thomasmoll8822 oh wow true, thanks for both of your comments, that really makes a difference!
@@thomasmoll8822 When you are a two hander backhand a lot of the strenght and top spin comes from your left hand, that's why he held the racket like this. There is even drills where the player will do only with his left hand. it is still very very impressive, but it also makes a lot of sense how he held the racket, he was basically doing this two handed backhand with just his left hand.
@@Scaff666 that makes a lot of sense, he basically did a stretch 2 hander but with his left to reach better as he was out of position, still completely nuts tho xD
Same,what skill
That Monfils jumping 360 flick winner has to be the best of the best shots ever made.
It's so absurdly unnecessary and perfect
The jump has no sense it's just magic
no
Monfils has another shot that's even more unbelievable. His opponent has the ball bouncing high near the net, with pleeenty of time to smash it and Monfils is kind of in the middle of the court. Monfils turns his back and starts walking defeated towards the base line. Suddenly, he takes his left hand to his forehead, stops walking, and "remembers" the ball is still in play. He turns around, blocks his opponent's smash with perfect timing, and wins the point.
I prefer the Cueva's one.
Wolf playing with two forehand it's unbelievable wow I 'm amazed 🤭🤭🤭🤭🔥🔥🤔
@Rafa undisputed Goat His own foot might stop him
@rafaundisputedgoat4291looks like he got stopped
2019 should have 2. Cuevas’s no-look tweener dropshot is a truly unique shot which deffo deserves to be included together with Monfils’
@Rafa undisputed Goat Djokovic win
@Rafa undisputed Goat This didn't age well 😂
Same as I thought.
Cuevas shots are certaintly the most creative! Love the guy
@Rafa undisputed Goat No context but ok
@@nsp1956 its a bot
@@xaoc1537 stupid 21th century's BOTS can't predict the future ( writing from 2213 )
Wolf's shot looks so so until you realize he hit left-handed forehand pass while being right-handed
He also held it like halfway up the racket
I would love to see a popkorn match between Monfils and Cuevas.
Amo entrar cada año y ver que sigue habiendo algún punto de Pablito Cuevas🇺🇾
wolfs shot is honestly one of the best shots ive ever seen
How was Djokovic's a shot of the year? It was just a good point, literally every one of those shots, even from both players, have been hit a thousand times.
True
Yeah there should be a separate video for the rally of the year, because that's where that belongs
Same for nadal’s 2020 shot, sure it was good but I’m certain there was a better shot to choose
@@benspencer-jones rally of the year i would agree with. shot of the year implies a single shot that stand out from the rest of the shots made that year. Rally of the year sounds like a good idea though
@Nihilus Yeah precisely my thoughts. That Nadal shot seems like a poor choice, must've been a better shot in 2020
Murray's dropshot against kolshreiber match point down should've been the 2016 one imo. Sensational shot
not the best shot, just at the best time
How are these videos not getting many views there so good
it was posted 5 hours ago. Be patient, buddy ;-)
There were many good shots and rally’s the past decade
Debate able
@Rafa undisputed Goat aged poorly
Thought there would be Rafa's tweener against Novak, but then realized it was more than a decade ago 🥲
Monfils really one of those players who bring beauty into this game. Miss him on the court
And the winner is. Monfils.
Nah
wow, I don't know what amazed me the most: the actual shots or the quality of all videos.
JJ Wolf by far!
Was hoping to see brilliant Medvedev here. But still great, thnx!
bruh Medvedev??
2012 has to be dimitrovs round the back shot vs troicki, one of the best shots I've ever seen!
Excellent compilation. Thank you ATP TV
Not the 2016 selection. Disappointing.
@@bubufubu Not the 2020 selection... even worse pick...
@@natoskull2 Nope. That's actually a great shot. There had to have been better in 2020, though. 2016, on the other hand, is just a rally consisting of some good, but not great, shots.
@@bubufubu There's shots running literally running from outiside one sideline to the other, look at Alcaraz one and all the running he did, and they do consider Nadal's short displacement and a common FH 'Shot of 2020'? Whole season long??? That's just pathetic for me, pretty sure I even watched better shots in an ATP250 that precise year.
@@natoskull2 The Alcaraz shot is fantastic and I totally agree with its inclusion. I also agree that they definitely could have found a better selection for 2020. That being said, 2016 is the worst choice they made. Easily. It seems that it's only included because it's Nadal and Djokovic. A good rally but nothing great there.
Love it 😍! Excellent high level tennis!
@Rafa undisputed Goat if djokovic doesn’t play he has a chance however there are many good players like alcaraz which are looking better than nadal for the tournament
How could you possibly show the Dimitrov and Sock point without showing the immediately subsequent point in which he repeated the same last resort improvisation?? I know it’s two points and not one though.
It is an absolute crime against humanity to show that dimitrov shot and not the shot right after
I disagree on the 2021 shot. The 44-shot rally between De Minaur and Millman in Rotterdam was just insane.
it's about shot, not rally
@@Schnittwinand that ended with an incredible shot. But still,
the intense rallying makes the ultimate winning shot more valuable.
the alcaraz shot is something that never happened before, that's why people enjoy it more than long rally
@@Schnittwin it’s the combination that made it so good for me, A very long tiring rally, De Minaur was about to lose it several times and then he pulled off a stunning winner in the end. It’s just my opinion, but that was my shot and point of the year.
I disagree. Don't get me wrong, the De Minaur rally was insane, but when have you ever seen another point like the one Alcaraz played. Just the difficulty of shots played as well as the uniqueness of the point and final shot makes it the best of 2021 for me.
Wonder if they put Rafa & Novak in there only because of who they are. But the JJ Wolf off hand FH was the real deal
Tennis is incredible.
Nadal, Djokovic, wolff nice ones but the best of that year? Cannot imagine.
Wolf deserves it because he hit a winner with his left hand while right handed
@@mohamedbenneji6861 But it's just a gimmick. A player could just keep trying to hit a shot that way until it worked even though a regular backhand would be the better choice 99 times out of 100. That shouldn't make it "shot of the year". The good shots are function over form, not the other way around.
@@rhwing5095 Well that lefty forehand ended in an amazing shot down the line, other choices were not getting to the shot at all or slicing which would have ended in a Tsitsipas volley, it had function + looks amazing imo
@@rhwing5095 oh come on, its a highlight reel shot not a who has the best backhand shot. if you want best most consistent and practical shot then go watch isner's serve or federer's forehand
It’s still Pablo..but the monfils turn around and Wolff left hander are up there
Some of these are best rallies instead of best shots but still a good list, would like to see actual best shots on their own tho
The Dimitrov's one was amazing cuz he did the same at next point, should be on the video!
How without Dustin Brown?
@Rafa undisputed Goat I swear this dude gon be sayin this even when Rafa retires
No Brown, No Federer?
Brown too busy wining his points with aces that land far outside the service box... Wish he'd retired early and joined the Mansour Bahrami exhibition scene instead.
Because those are funnier than beautiful I imagine ? Still extremely good points though
@Rafa undisputed Goat troll Djokovic fan trying to make Rafa enjoyers look bad
Is this supposed to be best shot or best rally? For 2022 I'd say Tsitsipas dive volley in Monte Carlo and Djokovic superman backhand get in Wimbledon comes a close 2nd and 3rd, but Wolf's switch forehand winner was truly out of this world. Monfils always a legend.
Wimbledon is not ATP
Wolf’s was amazing but I would deffo put PCBs tweener match point against De Minaur in there. That was a crazy shot
Why did I think it's gonna go wayyy back when they said 2013.. I guess I've become old 😅
I did not regret clicking on this video
Wolf, Monfils 2019 and Cuevas are the top 3 for me
2013 was ten years ago? no way
Wolf's one is probably the sickest shot ive ever seen
No no no. Where is the sinner shots in bouches du Rhône in 2020😟
4:53 what a rally
No De Minaur god tier drop shot??
@Rafa undisputed Goat bro you literally comment on every video
2020 r u kidding me?!
I think the point of 2022 was Alcaraz's point behind the back vs Sinner at the US open
2017 should have been Schwartzman behind the black shot against Isner in Paris-Bercy
Q puntazo Nole
No Djokovic airplane shot? You had one job...
In the Video of top 50 shots from 2020 was another shot the best of the year
No
2023 should be murray's point against kokkinakis in the australian open
2022 Alcaraz vs Sinner US Open
wolfs shot is more than double impressive to the second best monfils 360 grade shot
2021 should have been Dimitrov's stretch volley vs Hurkacz.
Dimitrov 2014 or Cuevas 2017
BEST SHOTS!
JJ FTW
Must be a Djockovic fan because i didnt find that clip fitted this video at all
Cuevas … Magic, nothing more to say.
Someone should make a "best match ending rallys" video
Was there no tennis in 2020?
Gael Monfils 🔥
where is evans behind the back shot?
Where is Cuevas vs Tsitsipas at Estoril Open? Tweener no look behind his legs from Cuevas? Also, no Kyrgios shots? How so?
Yews
Grigor will win a GS soon Mark my word ❤️🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬
2014 is Grigor against Murray
Keep rolling 🇯🇵 ninja warrior keep rolling!!! Vamos warrior & Cheers to the rising sun!!! 🐐🇯🇵🥷
Grade: A+ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dimitrov did that shot twice
I honestly didn’t find wolf’s shot that impressive. Maybe it’s because I switch to my left hand too, but it’s really not that difficult. The flexibility was the more impressive thing to me
5.18 that was lucky...
IS NO ONE GOING TO RECOGNIZE JJ WOLF SWITCHED HANDS TO HIT THAT
Now way the wolf's shot is better than the alcarazs at us open.
Majors are excluded here. They only have the video rights for ATP Tour events.
Alcaraz behind the back is shot of the year but as random guy mentioned this is excluding slams as different rights
My man J.J. Wolf decided to become Nadal out of nowhere
So many Federer Shots and you mentioned none of them.
These TennisTV countdowns can't include grand slams or any other matches that TennisTV does not cover.
Dustin Brown, Felix AA, Thiem, De Minaur, Medvedev, Rublev, FEDERER, Shapavalov, Tiafoe, Ruud?? lol I mean wth is this "list"?
Cuevas estoril?
I watch the tennis
6:10 Где ты Женя Куликовская!??🤣🌺🤣 Знаю..на Спартаке!! 😘
CUEVASSSS
Y'all just wanted to give something to Nadal & Wolf, didn't you?
Bruh
No😊
Where Rogers shots???? C’mon
Where is federer.
Federer?
2020 is a really odd choice.
Not as odd as 2016.
Everybody making fluking shots, but Roger doing them routinely.
JJ m'fin Wolf
Just saying how heres no kyrgios
J.J. better on his non-dominant hand.
🐺
2020's pick is just PATHETIC Lmfao best shot of the whole 2020 ATP season??? My c..k.
Not much tennis was played that year though because of the pandemic.
same with 2016
This is best shot not best rally.. some of these don’t make sense for either
FEDAL 💎 Forever!!! 🎾🎾🎾
I'm going to need the commentators to stop saying "that was mainline". That doesn't mean anything. Stop trying to sound cool and hip, keep it professional and use proper English
Wtf 2016 ?? Just a random point between rafa and djokovic, who chose this seriously?
stop recycling the same shot tennis tv. just upload roger matches extended format in 60fps. the ones he play late in his career 2017 onwards. thank u
2016 must have been a boring year..
I'm so happy to see Tsitsipas featured in this reel 😂
At the receiving end though, lol 🤣
Wolf and Cuevas the best, why is there Djokovic, yeah rally was good, but didnt see there any epic shot
I think the one of Djokovic ist the "worst" best.
The Djokovic and Nadal shots didn't deserve to be in there.
great shots, but a decade without a shot from Federer is simply not credible. An example would be the US Open 2018 against Kyrgios around the net post.
This channel never shows rallies from any Grand Slam. But I agree about Federer, and they could have included his half volley against Zverev in Shanghai 2019
