It was rigged. Voyager was never going to win because they are too heavy and loud (look at Myf's face and comment after the performance)

They were actually live. Some of the other performances were really poor vocally and had varying volumes of backing tracks.
That was live. You could tell by how loud it was plus always watch the drummer. He didn't miss a beat. None of them did.
