Right in the feels. I'm so glad that they got one more scene in together before she took the dive. Such a beautiful and tragic conversation. I really hope they get their memories back just so all these beautiful relationships built up over the years aren't lost.
Alaric isn’t necessarily trying to replace Klaus he’s just trying to protect her bc he cares about her and after losing as much as she has he’s worried about her well being. He’s helping her open up more and talk about the pain she’s in.
As someone who lost her father at a very young age I can tell you it’s nice to have someone like that in your life... it’s not a replacement, but it’s good to have a father figure
