And That the ending doesn't matter..., We are so intent on figuring out the exact events that follow after Cobb returns home, that we don't notice the actual moral of all this. Cobb chooses not to question his reality - he lets go and embraces his children, he chooses happiness....

1st, yes he is father in law.
2nd in last scene it was dream, because this was the only dream for which he struggled so much.
And when he finishes his task of dreams he still wants to live in that dream to see his children's, because he didn't met them for very long time. And the age of his children's were same as when he had saw them last.
Yes hero wins every dream task but didn't get up even after finishing every mission just because of his passion to get back to his kids.
The film was only about Hero and his return to his kids and the rest was just a filler with suspense thrillers.
I was this video just because I wanted to see what and how u narrate this film.

exactly the age factor is so correct because as we learnt that in your dreams time passes slowly as compared to real world then that should mean that there childrens should have grown up a bit just like what happens in the movie interstellar!!!

That’s a perfect question! You have got hold of the lose end! Is it bcz he kept Mal’s totem in a safe case & she had no access to it. I think in one of the scene it was shown… I am not sure though
