I'm so glad that Dave is healthy and continues to make music, I have been luck to see the live show for times once in 92, 94, 2000s twice. Hopefully I can see them again, I'm really excited to try the new Gibson although I favor his Jackson King V, geez imagine if he would have actually bought Jackson! Watch the Icon video if you haven't already, it's really good. I know it may sound strange, but I'm glad he left Metallica because seriously Megadeth is far heavier and progressive, with better guitar tone and riffs. Don't get me wrong I live Metallica too, but only the first five albums honestly. Thank you Dave for the inspiration all of these years, all I had as a kid was my music and it save me mentally. Look forward to seeing you guys live!

You can make the argument AJFA is heavier than RIP, but really? One's a thrash masterpiece and the other doesn't have bass and tries too hard to be prog. That's my issue with them the last few years. I've seen them 22 times, though many albums. They are my favorite band, but their set list is stale. They are trying to appeal to the casual fan with songs a metalheads would know, rather than play deep cuts. I want to hear Go to Hell, Architecture of Agression, Break Point, Looking down the Cross, GM Black Friday, Take no Prisoners, etc. I get that they should play some classic stuff, but inject one or two fan choices in their of deep cuts. At least they play 3 songs off the latest album. I'm hoping with the new record, they change things up.
If Dave Jr is no longer handling bass duties (Mustaine was a jerk to fire him over personal matters, but we'll gloss over that), LoMenzo is a killer replacement.
David still makes a ton of money from Megadeth as he played on everything but 3 albums (soon to be 4 though he may still have some songwriting royalties on it).
