I hope you enjoy the episode! Would you guys like to see a 'Punt or OMEGA Punt?!' with the man himself in the future, including some of the Lord's finest moments?
I saw some clips/hands from that, and tbh, it doesn't feel like a downswing but rather he spewing away a lot BB. The hands in this vid are obv Cheery picked, I have 2k hands sample on nl100 with him, and just in that sample are massive spews. Don't think he's beating the pool tbh, just my experience from playing with him. Poker has gotten weird, people rather try to make money with creating a utube persona than the game itself.....
@@TimUnknown-h5q Spewing a lot will create a downswing no? You may be 100 % correct but that's not what it's about. I don't mind him clowning hard if it's really funny. Which it most certainly is. :)
21:48 is a perfect hand to show the difference between the two worlds theory and reality. I like the confidence of Raph just x/banging OTR but totally agree with Nicks argument that a weaker player turned his cards around with his bet sizing. If we progress mastering hopping between both worlds in the right moments we start printing.
So last hand although I agree with the call with your combo, I actually disagree with some of the analysis about what villain could have and is repping wrt the T. I think a good player absolutely should be jamming AT here for value knowing that your range is heavily weighted towards AJ/AQ to value bet river for this size given you also capped yourself somewhat with the turn check. There's only 2 combos of QJ for you and some of them will bluff the turn (QdJd) - and with a T there's only 1 combo of TT. They could also have TT themselves. And I do think AA makes complete sense too - we can still have an A even tho he blocks them and we can also have TT. I also think given that their value range revolves around the T and that QJ shouldn't be that common that it makes more sense for them to turn some Tx hands into a bluff as well (T9s/JTs which are super low freq 4b 200bb deeep) and maybe only bluff the KQ/KJ of spades/diamonds that blocks your occasional QJ.
im for sure one of those people who would snap fold the AQ in the hand where the guy was bluffing KJ.... I never expect people to bluff pairs, but i'm a 2nl player atm so that's probably why... I don't think they would find those bluffs in 2nl...
Definitely no punt overall. Agree with Nick. Checkraise bluffing rivers with small pairs is a nice play, but imo it's more of an exploit against badregs (that's the people who go too thin for value when it checks down). This guy is either a fish or a bumhunt, so wasn't the right one to do this against.
He's not beating the pool, 99% sure. Will vanish once he's loosing too much and his attempt for youtube fame/money doesn't work (which I don't think it will).
He called a 3b ep with Q9s and then played exactly his hand strength and made an awful fish size on the river, and then just cant fold bec he has a weak TP and cant let go, no other reasoning for his call. Yes that is a fish. Also being "correct" one time/short term in poker does not mean the play is "correct". He just happened to be against the bluffing part of Raphs range. If you wanna talk correct, his hand is fold pre and not that river sizing and fold ALOT to the jam river. That guy prob calls 100% river when he has a TP bec he is to bad to understand, nothing else. Same for you, you dont understand the spot deeper than: "villain was right" and both of them (that prob understands the game alot better than you) agreed that was a fish, now you dont like him because you dont understand better
@@fel44ony3yes, but isn't the irony in this case, that he tried to bluff someone who will be calling way too much, hence is bluff in theory might be good, but in the pool he's bluffing it's really bad. He's in general way too spewy with his calls and bluffs. And if ure not winning in the pool longterm, ure still the fish yourself, even though u might know more theory than the hardcore recs... Just way too big of an ego, without any results to show for.
@@TimUnknown-h5q did you just listen to the part you wanted to? They said in the video they had no reads on Villain and after the shove + call + showdown he said he was obviously gonna insta note that and never do it again vs that player. He also agreed he didnt like shove and admitted esp vs a fish it was not good. He regretted himself already after the real hand. So I dont see the problem and why you keep throwing shit at him? I think he was super humble and honest here and said what he didnt like about all his plays.. still you give him the same judgments no matter how he acts. Also on his stream when he does some cocky comments he almost always does it with a glimse in his eyes and he also jokes alot about himself too and the mistakes he does...If you cant see that read, then your EQ on humans is very low. He does it in a fun and interesting way with alot of self awareness and self distance in my opinion.

Woohoom, this one is gonna be huge for the boys
The Skalman AQ hand is one of my favourites, an epic Raph short
WHO IS THE LORD?!
Great material. Keep these coming on regular basis but not too often. One in two weeks -> nice.
Thanks mate, I just release them whenever I have them! It can be hard to pin guests down.
This series makes me want to never fold against anybody.
I think you probably still should, most people are a disgrace 😅
Absolute Lord. That final hand *chef's kiss* GG all!
Thanks mate, always good to hear from my Portuguese fans.

I'm speaking from experience 😅. The amount of times I've banged this in and been snapped by the hand I've wanted too fold is too damn high!
@eastyyy22 I totally go with you. Had the same shit during 2/5/10/25 NL. Never ever gonna do it again 😅
The Beast in Action! 🎉
Great vid, cheers!
thanks!
brilliant content from the lord
"I'm never bluffing here", he says, bluffing

Am I the only person, upon looking at the thumbnail, thought that Nick was actually Kitboga?!
haha that guy is a legend so I'll take it
38:12 whatever I put in to Wizard I do not find a proofe for EvilSmiles Play with 76s. Can we assume that Evil punted here ? 😮

Agreed for sure!
AA and A4 doesn't size up flop and bet .5 pot in a 4-bet pot IMO.
No he is not.
Calling a guy a fish after he makes a correct call smacks of entitlement. Don't like this guy.
