As a lifelong, multi generational fan, thanks so much for giving such a GREAT and FUN season! Would have loved to have gone all the way of course, but this was still one of the best teams I’ve seen in years and a true pleasure to watch and route for.
I have been saying wait until next year for 75 years, lets face it, the DOLANS are cheap. This trend will continue until management decides it wants to compete with the likes of the mets, yankees, dodgers, phillies i.e. REAL MAJOR LEAGUE FRANCHISES
fun season. very frustrating season as well. you watched the team knowing they hit a peak and could not go further without some cash infusion type of deal where they were willing to take on payroll. it killed them in the alcs with the yankees and their big 3 equalizers. no lead was safe. they tried like hell and gave the yanks all they could handle in games 3-4-5 but ultimately until they have a bopper in their own lineup that the lights are not too bright for.. they will not make it to the world series nor win. injuries to bieber and mckenzie didnt help obviously, but i will give antonetti and chernoff credit on boyd, cobb and lane thomas. they are great at finding bargains. but.. they sat on a lot of those ML prospects too long and their value has reduced.
Well that is Antonetti for you. He says all the typical right things. I acutally feel bad for Antonetti. He is one if not the best General Managers in MLB. He doesn't have a lot of money to work with but he puts together a a great cast of players with the financial restraints. Best franchise in Cleveland despite their inability to win a World Series.
@@michaelshaffer3393 it was honestly shocking to me that he didn't take the Red Sox POBO job that was open considering he's from the New England area. So many more resources there. Obviously there were probably a variety of reasons of why he wanted to stay put here (family, colleagues, etc) but I bet one of his biggest reasons deep down was knowing he'd probably never get fired and have job security here for a pretty long time
Great season! Love the Guardians and Vogt is a fantastic manager. Love the leadership of Chris Antonetti as well. Amazing baseball mind. Also love he is wearing a VOTE! tshirt. I hope by that he means vote for Ohion Sen. Sherrod Brown and for Kamala Walz and Tim Walz for President and Vice Pres! Go Guardians!
As a cleveland fan in ny, i knew stanton was gonna homer both times. I dont know why vogt didn't know that. Pullling guys in the 2nd inning was never a winning strategy. If you do that again. You should lose your job. Period.
It has to be done. Nayls did not produce in the 2022 or 2024 Post-season....he seems to be ineffective in the playoffs. Trading Josh Naylor for a SP or a Power hitter who can hits 20 or more HRs every year especially in the Post-season.

Thanks for a fun year! I hope our year is next year and my mom still here to see that WS championship.

Tell the Dolans to spend some money and get another proven pitcher and a right fielder!
Love the shirt!

It's only fun when you win it all
Don't waste your time there was nothing said about free agency and no hard hitting questions
Don’t even have to watch to know we’re gonna get a bunch of word salad lol

😮get some dam starting pitching
We thought we had Bieber mckenzie and logan allen. That was plenty of pitchers. And they will try to fix them for next yr

Screw Kamala!
Austin hedges cannot hit
Make him a coach
THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR.
For over 60 years, I've heard wait til next year.. the mindset needs to change to anything less than a World Series ring is not a successful season..
Exactly, there is no next year, they had their chance and they fucked it up, you don't go every year
1948. Last World Series win for Cleveland.
NY payroll. Over $300 million
CLE payroll. Just over $100 million
No payroll parity in MLB
You cant win with your starters going 2 innings, let them pitch
Bullpen wasn't that great when it was needed.
I believe it was because they were so overworked all season.

I get that but he's a rookie manager. Hopefully he'll learn his lesson.
Their is no next year, they had their chance.
Please dont trade josh naylor
He's going to get traded because we have manzardo and we are too cheap to sign him. Unless he takes a discount

@charleslasich4067 he does nothing in playoffs and I think he has peaked. But how much can we get. I don't want more prospects.
Awful at conditioning and 2 out of 3 pitchers can throw him junk and strike him out. Rocchio had more postseason HRs. Enough said
Why are u wearing a vote t shirt? Vote for Pedro? He'a already in the hall..
Because he is a real patriot.
@@charleslasich4067 i saw that movie. Dont remember any italians
Opening logo should be the guardians logo. Not he guardian angels AAA, college, AA logo. Looks sooooo cheap!
