Rip and tear…everywhere!!! Loved the can do spirit. No quitting. Clearly time for some hefty upgrades on the old JEEP. That snow cat is sweet!!! Also time for a winch upgrade and a new jankem rope synthetic winch line. Looking forward to the new build/beast when time permits. It’s really great to see all the channels growing. Matt, Paul, Robby, Casey, Rory, all putting out some fun and entertaining content.
Appreciate you guys having a sense of humor while having to be towed down the mountain by an ATV! A lot of channels would have left that part on the cutting room floor😂
Does the ATV pull reduce a point on the man card? Then again they gained 2 by the way the handled the situation. They even brought back a bigger tool that's 5 points right there.
I'd make a comment like "why would you bother to bring the truck out with it broke??" but I've seen your channel and you guys are so crazy busy I am surprised Hillbilly had time to work on it at all! Great video. Way to keep it honest!
You never say it can't get any worse, it will. You never ask what else could go wrong, it will show you. The saying "the cobbler's kids go unshod" is never more true with Robby. He is so crazy busy. His old jeep needs a lot of love! lol You guys are great, love seeing a new video from you. Stay safe and GOD bless

No holds barred recovery gotta love it, you have a great community of friends Robby and your customer got his 1st recovery this is as real as it gets awesome video 😉👍
Good recovery working through the challenges with a positive attitude. It never ceases to amaze me how people don’t deviate from a routine when they’re stressed. Setting a parking brake on a vehicle that’s been stuck for 8 hours! I grew up on a farm so getting stuck was nothing out of the ordinary, part of the grind. My sister spun out on the icy dirt road and stuffed the truck in a ditch, didn’t hit anything, just couldn’t get out. She called and we went up with the tractor with tire chains and hooked up, went to get in the truck and it was locked, keys in her pocket. She laughed and realized what she did, being in a rural setting 1/2 mile from the house there was no need to lock the truck- we never needed to lock the house or tool shed for decades.
LOVE that the RL Nation crew always have smiles on your faces no matter what's happening !!! AND you always have a solution to the problem!!! Thanks for sharing, Robby!!! ❤❤from Central Oregon❤❤
Those e-brakes have caught Matt a few times too so you're in good company with that glitch! Although I don't remember if he's lost a drivetrain because of it. 😁
Hey there from Vancouver Canada .. been watching you for a bit like the auto body shop stuff worked in a one bay shop w my grandfather as a teen your shop and gear are amazing . You and the Boss have a great crew .. will watch long after banana nuggets are laid …
The moment they said they were going to run the rope under the car I knew it was a goner, synthetic ropes don't take abration well. Still was fun and educational to watch 😉
@@andrewk8636 Andrew Camarrata has a video about that. If I ever get a winch I will add a front receiver hitch so it can be moved front to rear or vice versa.
@@327JohnnySSI love his channel. Btw it costs a bit more to have front and back because you'll need some heavy duty anderson connectors front and back and some very thick cables to run to the back of the truck and account for voltage drop and a front hitch too. Worth it if you can fabricate things. I still haven't finished my setup lol
Really good video! Appreciate you share a "semi faliure" rescue. Sometime we could learn more from this than a successful recovery. For the dyneema winch line, never make a knots. It's reduce the strength by 50%. If it broke before, with the knot it will surely break again. it's really simple job make an end to end splice with dyneema also in the field. I think Hillbilly said it best in another video.. if it wasn't for bad luck y'all wouldn't have no luck.. wowzers.. dang you guys broke everything in this recovery.. 👍good job tho.. no quitting
Learned this from Matt's recovery channel. Had your customer turned his wheels to the "left".. (matts comment was "seems counter intuitive"...) the front will come away from wall as you pulled it backwards. It would have come out of the ditch.
@Scott Sime you're technically correct. I should have said driver and yes should have been instructed. I didn't know this myself and have recovered a few vehicles. Wish I had learned before seeing on Matt's channel.
Great video. Really shows the all to common axiom: Mechanics (and in this case body shop owners) vehicles are usually just patched together enough to run, and even that is questionable. so many people don't understand why this is. It's because the mechanics (and body shop owners) are always to busy working on everybody else's rigs....
you guys rock! Your attitudes are fantastic. Helps to knowing mechanical stuff and having friends with sno cats. what a great video. I am so stoked to be a follower of this rad channel Robby!
