CONVOYYYY. Great video as always you two ☺️ it's all about learning and growing as sailors, preparing you for all those epic adventures you've got ahead of you 😬⛵🌊 Love you guys! ♥️
Aw thank you so much for watching! You’ve been so supportive along hour journey! Definitely excited to keeping growing as sailors and building those miles! ☺️
Another really good video. Sounds like you are gaining so much more experience now and really know what you are doing. Even the little hiccups we learn from so it’s great. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon watching. Thanks 😊
Aw thank you so much for watching and the support! We definitely feel like this trip has been one incredible step forward in our sailing journey. Our confidence has definitely improved and we’ve learnt so much! He’s to building on that with many more adventures! 🌊⛵️☺️
@@davidwarnes5158 Yeah it kind of did, but wind was coming from the east so we were close hauled on port all the way to it with the idea that we’d get to the other side of it and be on a starboard be reach all the way back… but then had wind dead on the nose whilst behind the wind farm with probably 5 Nmiles😬
@@SailingIndiana yes I did understand , I would have done the same on the inside of the world farm, When bumping 8nto the sea , that is a long farm, been there ,
Potentially yes, but the close hauled wind angel wouldn’t let us get inside without starting some tacking. We thought we’d shoot straight past it, tack once, then be home and dry! With hindsight, we’d have taken the inside route, much safer.

Cool sailing video. Hello from South Africa.
Hello there! Thank you for watching! Where in SA? I lived in Durban for 10 years ☺️ Lauren x
@@SailingIndiana Ex Durban, now living in Pretoria.
Happy birthday mate
Thank you!! 🎉🎉🎉
Happy B dayyyy
Do you guys have to log a Sail/ flight plan in and around the UK from port to port like here in SA
Hi Ian!! No we don’t? What authority do you log it with?
It is lumpy round there , that wind farm is a pain in the but . Inshore more fishing pots ,
It certainly is! We definitely got our fair share of both of those! We guess they put the wind farm in the right place! 😂 🌬 💨
@@SailingIndiana kinda limits your progress by putting something between you and your destination, the windfarm became a lee shore ,

@@davidwarnes5158 Definitely a better idea to have gone inside :( Then put a few big tacks in towards home…
Could you have come inshore of the wind farm or not

Please …….. Stowe those fenders!!!!!
Roger that! Will do😬
