    Best explanation of Schmitt Trigger Oscillators on UA-cam. Great! Keep going!

    This explanation is brilliant, a shame so few people have seen this

    The output square wave mark and space doesn't look like same. I'm thinking to get similar chip 74LS132 to make a Scope CRT TV and 2 gate for Sawtooth oscillator for Vertical and horizontal . 2 gate for self oscillate for Inverter for step up to few hudred voltage for CRT , LM1881 for Sync seperator.

      The design equation for a CD4093 based astable multivibrator is in the video, and also in the TI datasheet, which is where I found it: www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/cd4093b-q1.pdf

    please send the datasheet reference link of Schmitt NAND gate where I used SN74LS132 series.

    Can you still get an oscillator with a regular NAND gate with no Schmitt trigger inputs?

    • @NetworkXIII
      @NetworkXIII  5 років тому

      Probably, though it wouldn't be as stable or predictable as this circuit.

    starting to 3 minutes your are talking about charging capacity. But there is no input tension Vin connected anywhere in the circuit. HOW CAN YOU charge this capicitance ,?

    • @NetworkXIII
      @NetworkXIII  5 років тому +1

      kembo capelsii The capacitor is charged and discharged through R by the output of the first gate.

      Thank you Very much for your fast answer. i see, but why the capacitor will discharge by the out 3 when it low, instead of to discharge by the ground. sorry I'm bigger i really want to understand everything ^^

    • @NetworkXIII
      @NetworkXIII  5 років тому +1

      Sorry for my late reply. The discharge path for C is through R, then into the output pin which is pulled low to ground, and back to the other side of C.

      @@NetworkXIII the output when it at low level it's connect to ground right?

    • @NetworkXIII
      @NetworkXIII  5 років тому +1

      The lower output FET pulls the pin down to ground.
