I swear every reactor missed the point of the when daemon is with the riverlands men. Tully has to talk that way so his bannermen would respect him. Haf nothing to do with trying to disrespect daemon. It was an act.
No shit but Tully is letting him know that he can get just as wicked as him but no doubt the Queen needs the support .whether he likes Daemon or not...no one likes him and just waiting for him to slip up one more time.
@docnash_ no he didn't, because in the first scene he says they have a problem and addresses him as "my king" or "your grace", but he didn't later on to show that respect and damon understood that, which is why he went along with it. Rewatch the scene, you can see it all over his face when he realizes. And im sorry but the only reason the greens didn't come destroy the blacks a long time ago is because of their fear or damon and nothing else. Ain't no one afraid of rhaenerya and syrax
