Thank you so much for this video. Watching this video helped us take the train after flying in from Canada. So much easier when you can visualize a trip before you get there. Again many thanks
You need to validate the train ticket if purchased from a vending machine or an attendant at the airport. Look for the yellow or green small stamping machines on your right before going down to platform.
Travellers, if you buy a ticket from Malpensa to Ferno (€ 3.00) and a second class ticket from Ferno to Milan Central Station (€ 5.00), you will save € 5.00 compared to the 1st class ticket from Malpensa to Milan Central Station . It is not necessary to get off and on again at Ferno. Same thing for the journey in the opposite direction from Milano Centrale to Malpensa airport T1 or T2
I saw you paid 20 Euros for the round trip. When we were there earlier this month it was 13 Euros each way (purchasing them a few days early online), though I didn't get the return trip ticket at the same time. Anyway, we did find the airport a bit confusing. Looks like the route to Milano Centrale may always be platform 3, as it was a few weeks ago, too. I remember looking at signs and digitized boards and still not knowing if we were in the right place, however.

Currently, trains depart from Malpensa airport T1 or T2 to Milano Cadorna (railway station of the North Milan railways), Milano Centrale (railway station of the state railways) and to the Canton of Ticino (Switzerland) via "GAGGIOLO TRANSITO" (tariff connection point on the state border).
Correct...you just get on the train. Later on, a fellow comes by asking for tickets. I showed him the printed ticket. You could also have it on your phone as well if you purchased previously. It was only the Malpensa Express and Frecciarossa/Frecciargento trains where anyone asked about tickets. For the Regionale trains we didn't have to show anything ever...which is odd. I wonder how many people get on those trains without paying! We were in Italy a few weeks ago.
É state 0.30bore quando ho potuto dormíre! E Milano é cattiva!

So there is no train station at MXP...?
Hello! What is the date when this video was made? Thank you in advance. :-)
Thank you that helped. Now what told you what platform to go to? I will be looking for the Cadorna train. This went to Central. So hope it applies.

Is there any free snooze lounge at malpensa airport T1?
great info log - music annoys me so muted it but the vlog is great
Hi, if you have a ticket that you bought online, you don't validate it in the machine? you just go to the train ?

Thank you for the informative video. Is Milano Centrale safe for tourists?
Non dire stupidaggini.
There are several thieves and pickpockets (gypsies, Moroccans, etc.), especially on the square outside and in the trains of the metropolitan railways
Some narrative would help with the details.
20€ to Milano Centrale? Fuck this is expensive. I rode the bus from Bergamo airport to Milano Centrale (60km) and paid only 5€.
bus is Cheaper
Are you in Terminal 2
This is Terminal 1
