How I wish was there to see that performance. Awesome. Mcgeoch and severin on guitars just perfect, siouxsies vocals brilliant. Love this song, my favourite from the brilliant juju album.
Saw the Banshees do this in Melbourne, Aust' in 81 or 82. This video actually captures how blindingly thrilling they were live. Words can't do justice to describe Budgie's drumming. Amazing sound. Just watch & turn it up.
It may appear she was goofing around with that guitar back then, but she did a large amount of instruments with The Creatures (Budgie+Siouxsie) later. Multi-talented and so determined
Nah the barre chords she was playing really allowed John to work on top of a nice layer of guitar for once. This song always needed it during the E-Bow intro.
Man I have never heard this song before. It is IN-Credible. I need to find like a 8 to 10 minute version of this. Just as I really get into it, it ends.
TBH, although Budgie is fantastic, this to me is Souxsie at her best and she puts in one of her best Banshee performances that i have ever seen. Additionally John McGeoch, (May he rest in peace), was also inspired that day. This is truly a classic!
Man the drummer was Awesome and there was no holding back the bass kept up with that wicked guitar 🎸 🎸 then Souxie vocals total great performance. ☝ 👍 👍
Budgie is actually leading the rest of the ensemble in this song. Neat, what? (The other three are, of course, top-notch performers as well. I just like Budgie's idiosyncratic drumming style.)
Extraordinary performance... experience. Yes, Siouxsie is a kind of funny here, but she can afford to be whatever she likes... Especially with such banshees/sounds around.
I could watch McGeoch all night. As a mediocre guitarist myself, to watch someone THAT good is inspiring. The guy was a genius.
I spend hours and hours watching John McGeoch videos....
Me too ✋️
Truly!
I was lucky to catch this line up a few times back in the day. Best live band I have ever seen. McGeoch was incredible.

John McGeoch.... just WOW !!!! No other guitarist comes near. This wonderful wonderful band were never ever given enough credit, absolute legends ❤️
Came here for John's guitar playing but Budgie wow! what a drummer
Budgie's drumming here is simply amazing!
The best performance for this music. I love this woman. She is a monster. This band is terrific! Nothing compares to them!
She was, and is still, both a beauty and a beast.
All of these people are Really great Musicians!
TY ❤️
A force of nature with McGeogh at the centre...
Every one of this band, this special special line up was just mind blowingly talented, nothing today comes anywhere near.
How I wish was there to see that performance. Awesome. Mcgeoch and severin on guitars just perfect, siouxsies vocals brilliant. Love this song, my favourite from the brilliant juju album.
I never heard this version of the song before! Freaking Budgie! He does not get the credit he deserves for being a genius.
What he's doing at the end is absolutely insane.
These Cologne performances are some of the best Banshees I've ever seen!
Four of them together produced a perfect sound

Yes, I know what you mean.
The best line up of a pós punk band ever!!!

Her performance of Voodoo Dolly on this show is crazy impressive.
they syncronize excellent perfect energy.
This is simply why I love Siouxsie over and over.
beyond underrated..love them!
definitely one of the oldest nonsensical 'underrated' sightings have seen! (adds to list)
love the energy from this song...
Three very very talented musicians at their best. A wonderful live band.
McGeoch and the Queen.....Siouxsie.....everyone looks ICONIC alongside Siouxsie. Not to belittle Mc.
brilliant song, brlliant performance

Yup. Budgie is on fire in this concert.
Siouxsie te amé, te amo y te amaré por siempre...
This is my favourite Banshee concert of all time. They will be Legends!
Best ever live performance
McGeoch's syncopated picking style is insanely ahead of it's time. Especially considering the fact that this is not a prog-rock band.
Unbelievable power SIOUXSIE ROCKS
F'ing amazing. This deserves more views.
brilliant s&b in those years…..ahhhhh I love them!
Brilliant music....:)

Tell that to Louise Post, Kat Bjelland, Larissa Strickland, Allison Robertson, and Poison Ivy...
Amazing!
Why so many of these videos from Westdeutscher Rundfunk, btw?
Rockpalast...
I wonder if wearing the star of David shirt in Germany was a calculated gesture after the Nazi armband controversy.
Know what would be a great parody for this song? Cinnamon Tart
Actually, double pfft.....
Nice
