I think Pandit Nayan Ghoshji is perhaps one of the best exponents and ambassadors of Hindustani Sangeet in a very long time. To top it off look what he has produced as Guru: his son. Panditji is an amazing and rare jewel in the crown of ICM. His knowledge of Raag and Taal are truly mind blowing.
I don't know, but Pandit ji's tuning with the instrument is somehow exemplary. Very rare to hear such tone on every ‛Na’ and ‛Dha’. Absolute pleasure to experience. Love and regards 🌟❤️🙏🏻
Nayanji has an exceptional knack for tuning. I have personally watched Nayan tune Shamim Ahmed's sitar before a concert in which Nayan was accompanying him on tabla. Being an accomplished sitar player means his tuning skills are excellent. (One of the very highly regarded and well known tabla players often had issues properly tuning his tabla - I have a concert recording, early in his career, in which he spends an inordinate amount of time tuning his tabla.)
@@tablameister That definitely shows His precision and perfection with sound production, Sir. You need to have such vigorous understanding and years of practice with both vocal/instrumental music as well as Tabla to adhere to this tone! And I'm sure Pandit ji has both grace of God and his ancestors' blessing as well as his own hard work. Pranam. Regards. May we love this music more!
Panditji, you made it look so simple!..to play with such clarity as well as to talk so meaningfully in between need lifelong devotion and passion Pranams.. 🎉
I have never seen a performer to speak with such authority in my life. Tabla is an amazing musical instrument which suits all sorts of vocal music and instruments viz. sitar, violene so on and so forth. You unfolded the ancient history of tabla gharana and told us the sequence to be followed usually for solo performance in tabla. Really, it was exciting and my delight knew no bounds while listening to you. It was not only educative but also informative as well. You are a man of erudition. That is why you could enunciate so lucidly. I humbly pay my regards to you Sir, for this finest discourse and demonstration.
What a lovely sharing of gharanas, sweet bits unforgettable. My best regards Panditji. You maintain the legacy of great Nikhil Ghosh. God is with you. 🙏🙏
Thank you so much PantidJi, I am sure we would all love to have more of these demonstrations on various aspects of tabla and sitar as you are a great maestro of both
I think apart from one of the most Experianced and Stalwart artist Panditji took every precaution that the Sound Textures will get recorded Properly via Supervising every beat and pieces Through that Headphone , its one thing that gets distorted especially during open air concerts that the texture gets distorted due of improper microphone arrangements or sound equipments .
The kid is an extraordinary tabla player himself. Probably he is tempted to play the tabla along with his father which he normally does in public concerts all over the globe
