Thanks Kacey and Josh , I actually loved this whole video , really beautiful , especially the sunset and dusk by the lighthouse and the beach .Not very impressed by the electric car though !.
Oregon really does have the prettiest coastline. I've lived in both CA & WA. The OR coast drive is the most stunning, IMO. Neskowin is a nice place to stay in the summer. Good job with the videoing and editing. Oregon coast is beautiful. You thought that spot was famous. They film commercials on the coast, and some movies. Good to see you both smiling and enjoying that trip.
Oregon is beautiful! We flew in to Portland, drove down the coast, then over to Crater Lake NP, then north to Mt Hood and Columbia River area. Every part was equally amazing!
I’m only an hour from Eugene lol our coast is beautiful and so is our greenery. That is a great hotel. There is Tracktown pizza by the University of Oregon and it has the best pizza.
Lots of new stuff in this place, from the waffle maker lamp to the pizza thing. I have electric power tools and most of the time when I'm all ready to get to work, I remember that I did not charge their batteries. I guess the post-Thanksgiving sales have finally gone the way of the standing in line for movie tickets. I never went out for one of those sales but did find myself in a stores a couple of times in the middle of that day without really thinking about it.

We've all over paid for certain things in our lives so don't sweat it. You and Josh will remember the memories you made together long after after you've forgotten how much you had to pay to rent that car! As for practicality and affordability of EVs; not very practical for long distance trips but they're great for driving around town, driving to work, etc. and then letting it charge in your garage when you are at home. As for affordability, you'd be surprised. You can buy a Tesla Model Y which is their SUV for under $50K AND the Federal Government has a $7.5K rebate available which brings the cost down. Also, a "fill up" costs between $5 & $10 for a Tesla while a tank of gasoline costs from $30 on up for the same driving range. God bless!
Ha-sea-ta is how you pronounce Heceta….but in your defense lots of places around there to mispronounce. I’m glad you folks liked the area. Florence and Newport are beautiful
I know. Wasting precious time to sit in car or spend money. People can and will be robbed, k I’ll Ed, etc etc while waiting in their car to be charged. Kids and people will be hot and or cold waiting in car.
I think hybrids are the way to go for now. The electric infrastructure is being increased but it's still new. My friend's hybrid charges by driving it. Electric is always used in town and gas kicks in on the highway. She loves it, has saved a lot on gas. I THINK the newer hybrids need to be plugged in to charge the electric but as long as you have gas in your tank, you're good to go. Things will get better, but even as I am an advocate of moving to electric, I would NOT rent one right now.
You charge your car in your garage, so it’s easier than gas. If you have solar, it’s free. 💕 Next time, rent a Tesla. Huge difference in time and availability.
@@jeannine1991 - And how many HOURS have you spent at a charging station somewhere during these 20-odd trips compared to a 10 minute gas fill-up and then back on the road? What about having to cut your driving time short, thus having to go find a charging station because it's 20º outside, snowing, and you've got the electric heater, defroster, and wipers all going at the same time, thus reducing your range significantly? @@RustySax1949 do you really want to calculate how many hours I’ve spent charging, when I charge in my garage while I’m sleeping?
