Thank you Pastor Aaron. I needed this reminder about praying for others... Especially during this election cycle.

Amen. Ive found political Christians (on both ends) tend to live their lives in fear of persecution: physical or moral. We have to remember that historically Christians were persecuted and suffered for their faith and the lack of persecution in this country has been nothing short of a blessing from God. As Christians, what we should be more concerned about is praying for this country, its people, and being a light/good example amongst those who live in the dark.

Funny @christking85, I was thinking the opposite...I am Thankful that God sent such a teacher/leader as Paul that those who follow after him will continue in The Way, The Truth and The Life! He doesn't teach the SAME as Paul for he is different, but he teaches TRUTH and THAT is what matters! 😊

I just cant get behind this guy. Every time Pastor Paul isn't there i just can't watch. I know his heart is in the right place but there is just something that isn't as authentic as when Paul is speaking.

I understand where you're coming from. Different pastors connect with people in different ways. Maybe try focusing on the message rather than the messenger, and see if that helps you find value in his teachings.

There’s a church and pastor here where I live. And I’m telling you I fall asleep every time I go to see. But I know God wants to go there because that pastor even though I don’t show up for months will text me and ask if I’m coming by for mass and tells me that he prays for me. My mind and heart keep being tug to go there. So my point is even though we don’t like it and want to. Maybe God is leading us where we don’t want to go so we can be save and healed

@@Loup1207 I do but the delivery and the examples brought up I can't get behind. I am not going to the Church, I can go get the same message from others I vibe with.

@@Hevayarms38 There is a difference between sermons like this and verse by verse sermons. If I am watching someone and they do not feel authentic to me, I will go elsewhere. Everything he said isn't the Word. His opinions and side stories are what i can't get behind. Authenticity goes a long way when you are trying to teach people.
