- Heres a little video showing how to make an amazon alexa controlled light box for advertising your youtube name and channel.
plus a little bit of LED lit art (if you can call it that )
*declaration this video is not supported or any paid promotion by said amazon or magic home. all items purchased by me to make this project.
all music in this video was composed and played by Jason Lee : Eddie Deegan & Markus Fuller
Cool project! Music in the background is also fantastic...
Cheers Marc - it's mainly about having fun jamming, and the music sort of emerges from that process. More to come ;-)
I like ANY video you make, Markus, synth, LEDs, 3-D Printers, you name it. I guess that's because you explain things well and are a pleasure to watch! And hear, when you play your beautiful music!
clydesight Thanks clydesight I really appreciate your comment. best wishes from Markus.
Cool stuff Markus. Thanks!
I like you man, you're like the chill Colin Furze
Haha, it would be hilarious if they each swapped personalities for a video.
Thanks, I’m a big fan of Colin Furze
Nice...
I quite like the wall art with the various electronic components. I think the effect might be better were the wood painted either black or white however
Sharky Sharklops I guess it would look nice painted. maybe black would be good.
Need to make it cv controllable. Control over brightness and color?
Try putting the opaque panel under your logo with the glass on top, might make the text stand out more.
Hi Markus,
I have put a strip of white LED behind my matrixbrute (stands near a white wall) and it looks cool when playing in the dark with the rest of my synths :)
bob frode That would look great behind such an awesome synthesizer.
Thanks!
Truth Seeker Thank you
That looks pretty nice already. Where did you get that opaque plastic for the front (at 5:50)? Edit: I like this particular background tune a lot!
Chip Guy Vids I bought that from a hardware shop. it was just a perspex cutoff. i cut it by scraping a screwdriver along a steel ruler several times so it made a groove then just snapped like cutting a tile.
Would you get a more diffused light of the strips were staggered?
Could you have a random colour?... 'Alexa, make colour random.'
I just tried that after reading your comment. sorry alexa just says she does not understand. i guess its not possible.
