As an ardent admirer of antiquity, I reached a point where my knowledge of Ancient Mesopotamian civilizations has been increasing exponentially for the past 13-14 years. Hence, I am poised to certify two major ERRORS, as follows: 1- The period disclosed about the so-called "arrival" of the Akkadians was misinterpreted. Circa 2340 BCE they took over the geo-political sphere by finally uniting the entire territory under one rule - that of Sargon the Great. The Akkadian people themselves had arrived at the region much earlier, circa a millennium before their appearance in history. Then, they readily started co-inhabiting Southern Mesopotamia with the Sumerians (along with the surviving peoples of the UBAID period (c. 4500-3200 BCE. 2. Goddess ISHTAR is the Akkadian version of a distinct deity that was erroneously mentioned therein, for the (correct) Sumerian name for this goddess was INNANA.
