Your new found philosophy on life reminds me a lot of stoicism, you're a smart young guy so I'm sure you know what that is but you should read up on Marcus Aurelius and other stoic philosophers, youd dig it. I do. Oh and get a KTM 2 stroke.

I’m 25 and want to lose some weight to enjoy riding more. I’ve always had a decent sized belly lol. This has definitely inspired me to just do it. I’ve been considering doing my first hard scramble this Sunday in the vintage or post vintage class. I work Saturday night/ Sunday morning so I have a lot going against me. Watching you makes me think I should just go do it. Still love all of your videos!

I must be one of those hard core bike nerds because I love watching you beat these bikes. Especially the lower priced bikes that are readily available. People forget how much performance these bikes can deliver. I currently ride a CFR250X so love your videos on that. Would love to see more of your input on that GPX eveRide, and I think you, rode. I especially love the race videos. You are smoking out there.
I did purchase your KDX issue as well.
Keep it up, we will keep watching.

Man this video has me so motivated. I did the Glen Helen GP on a stock WR250R and man it was torture. I've taken it to other races too and like you say, you just have to go balls to the wall and race as hard as you possibly can. It was really cool to see how you recruited these people from all over and got them on your side to race all three endurance races. Very impressive. I want to do the same when I EAS, try to anyway. This video beats the hell of out anything I've seen on Netflix or anywhere else. Probably because I'm a rider and in the same area. Amazing stuff/

I remember racing my 1st 6hr endurance race. A lot of suffer in that one. Lost a contact lens 2hrs in so rode the rest with 1 eye. Subframe came off 3hrs in - ratchet strapped it back on. Rode with a front-tyre puncture for the last 2 hrs. Somehow ended up 9th out of 30ish.
Went back the year after to do 12hrs, for some reason.

I have raced the 6 hr a couple of times. Ironman. 50+ yrs old. Will be there again in March. At the end, when it's over, and you get off the bike and sit down, you go into shock and the body just shuts down. Such a weird feeling.

Great story! :) Amazing what sort of change can happen in the span of a single year... People tend to overestimate what can be accomplished in the short term, but really underestimate just how much can change over a year or so. Amazing stuff, and looking forward to seeing more CRF250X in the future. I'm amazed what abuse that bike was able to take.

Riding hard is painful when you're weak, but it takes real work to become strong. You and your friends have had physical problems that would honestly stop me from riding, yet you still continue to push harder than I ever would. I likely won't ever get to your level, but I know I should at least always try to IMPROVE.

Last night I wanted to go to bed earlier. And I was like "yeah, I will just watch this KDX200 video and go to bed". After it, autoplay played this video, caught my attention and I went to bed 2 hours later. Extremely inspirational, I found myself in your place many times, my knees are sort of screwed up, my back hurts as well, often I have a sense that what I'm doing has no purpose. And I don't find joy in bad moments (it used to be worse but I am making it better last few years). Also, my nutrition is bad, I don't care much about it :D

Massive question and would ultra appreciate some advice. I am 43 and suffering arthritis from late 20tees what diet healing made you cure or positively reduce your arthritis? I suffer after each ride we go on 4 to 6 hrs of light to moderate riding down in UK mud.
I have leatt wrists braces help a little so I can cope but looking for ways to get arthritis to a manageable levels.
I know I am too old and too fat and sorry but I ride an old excf 350 2015 🤣🤣🤣 and f800gsa so may not get your attention but if you don't ask you never know. Thanks in advance 😎💪

Damn dude, seeing the light you were running with in the 24hr.... we run that plus a pretty decent led spotlight in our 24hr event down here in Oz.

You have that right, it makes it easier to ride fast when you accept hitting a bolder at 80 or getting hit by a bus. I accepted that years ago. Im 37 now i still ride, getting hurt sucks but accepting it will happen makes it easier to ride.

My first race was on my Crf250x and thought the same. I was thinking what the hell am I doing here and even thought of quitting. At the end after I finished I was so happy I didn’t quit.
