  • In 1995 Kermit Weeks opened the doors to the iconic Fantasy of Flight, showcasing the world’s largest privately held vintage aircraft collection, from earliest flight to the beginnings of the jet age. What sets Fantasy of Flight apart from other collections is that Kermit doesn’t collect anything he doesn’t intend to fly, restoring almost all of its display aircraft to airworthiness condition. Fantasy of Flight is truly dedicated to “Lighting that Spark Within all of us”.

Kermit Weeks is an Icon of Aviation. I really appreciate what he achieved in promoting everything flying, connecting people to Aviation. His Fantasy of Flight Collection is second to none.

Every time I come here someone amazing is on the podcast. I always learn something about the guest you have I never seen on any other show. Who knows how long we will have these great Icons of Aviation around who is going to follow in their footsteps. I still come back to watch SR-71 pilot Brian Shul your podcast might have been one of the last interviews he ever did.

Thanks so much for the kind words Mike. That’s exactly why I do the show; to inspire others and preserve the voices of inspirational people for years to come.

A great guy. But that spiritual thing he is talking about, with Howard Hughes etc…. I don’t know. Makes me think about Naked- in-Jamaica rum.

The Weeks' legacy has helped preserve some rare aeroplanes and I'm all for that. I think it's an honourable cause. Attaching a home grown self-help organisation to this is bonkers and it will piss away a small fortune before it fails.
