It can be challenging to publish in top-tier (Q1) journals in the social sciences, especially since researchers often need to secure funding from their universities to pay for publishing these high-impact publications. Even many established, prominent scholars can face difficulties getting their work accepted by the most prestigious journals in their fields.
Thank you very much for this excellent presentation. I am currently finalizing my article-based PhD, and this presentation is timely. I will be particularly keen on copyright issues and resisting from editing published papers. I am required to write a synthesis/integrative chapter towards the end of my thesis, and yet guidelines are very scarce. Please consider addressing this topic in your future presentations.
A great lecture! However, I laughed when the professor mistakenly said Dinosaurs instead of saying Reviwers. Haha In any case, the lecture is highly appreciated.
Thank you, Dr. Attia, for this informative lecture. I have three articles, two are already published, and one will be soon. How to add them to my thesis? Can I include them as pdf directly inside my thesis, in the same way as the published article format? or should I copy & paste the contents?
Excellent. Thank you so much for the clarifications. I am considering keeping the link of this video for reference.
Glad it was helpful!
