I think it can be easy for people to lose thier mindfulness where they live from time to time if they don't keep on eye on themselves much, the trick can be to notice it as much as possable when you know your brain has it and find ways to make it stronger and keep it strong as much as you can.
Hi ladies,i first saw this video in the library yesterday but with nosound though and now watching it again with sound on the laptop haha.👍👍,nice stuff.
@@aclaireytale I am the MD at the Model Village, I have watched some of your Disney vlogs, I worked at Walt Disney World back in 1993/94 (seems like such a long time ago) and also lived at Vistaway, had such a great year, cheers Mike 🙂
@@aclaireytale I worked on something then called the fellowship programme, there was about 6 people from each country, we worked 4 days per week and 1 day per week was as educational/cultural day - basic courses in Disney management, learning a bit about behind the scenes etc. (which back then, without the internet, was a mystery and great to learn about). The 4 days I worked in the Twinings Teacaddy shop. The fellowship programme worked along-side the cultural rep programme, but I think they stopped doing it around 2003. What did you do there?
Hi girls many many thanks for the raptor upload , I have just got back from 2 weeks in Devon and yes at 72 I rode the raptor!!! and I loved it, I would never have known about if not for your video x
I live about 10 mins from here and it's lovely to see people enjoying it. Thank you for supporting local businesses 🙂 safe to say the weather isn't always that good 😆 x
I am from Poland and have been living in Torquay for over 4 years and the weather is often great, a wonderful place, I greet and wish you good health 😊
We live in Torbay and have done all our lives …. It’s wonderful to see what a great time you had and how you think it’s like being abroad. Thank you for your brilliant video and enthusiasm for the bay. It’s great to see. And when you live here, you take it all for granted. So a lovely reminder for locals in respect of how lucky we are to live here x
Sorry, I think this will be a long comment.😅 God, I am so homesick watching this. I used to live and go to school in Torquay and Paignton many years ago. I think you need at least a week to explore the area. I recommend staying in Masts self-catering apts above the theatre on Torquay seafront, if they haven't all been bought up for solely private use by now. They have spectacular views from their balconies. Or Vista apts in Goodrington overlooking Young's Park. Lovely views again but ditto caveat. The Cliff Walk to Paignton harbour is a delightful stroll. TJs restaurant overlooking the harbour is nice. I don't normally like zoos unless they are doing sterling conservation and education work. Paignton is good in this regard and the zoo is very green and leafy (like walking on a hiking trail through woods in places). Then there is the Quaywest Splashdown aquapark in Goodrington. But the best day trip by far is the Round Robin which takes you by steam train from Paignton to Kingswear, ferry to Dartmouth, then riverboat upriver to Totnes, then public bus back to Paignton. Or you can do the route the other way round. It's a wonderful day out. And I haven't even started on Dartmoor horse riding... By the way I envy all you lot who still call it home. I miss the sound and sight of the sea and the cries of the seagulls so much! 😭
Thank you so much for watching I'm so glad it's brought back happy memories for you! We definitely need longer next time to explore more, such a lovely area to visit!!
Stayed around there several times, an amazing area that's just so relaxing, with the three towns being very different but complememnting each other. And yes, it is really easy to get around by bus!
Thanks for such a good video! We go to Brixham every summer with our boys and it’s nice to see someone sharing how wonderful it is! Thanks for all the tips were definitely going to get a Stagecoach pass and do some exploring with our boys!
What a really good video and two lovely ladies who's nice friendship really comes across. I stopped at the same hotel just after the end of the first covid lockdown with my son and this brought back some nice memories.
So glad you ladies had a fabulous time in Torquay, I live not 10 mins from where you were staying. I am happy you didn't venture up through the centre of town I know you would have been very disappointed. At the very top of the town is so desolate and where you would meet the, shall we say, the less desirable of Torquay's inhabitants.
Hi Tom, yes we did stay in the touristy areas. I guess there aren't great parts of town in many places! Thank you so much for watching, we had a great weekend!
really nice to see people talking about Torquay so enthusiastically! Some of the locals seem to get down on the place but it really comes alive in the summer. Rugges coastline, countless beaches, hilly profile with lots of views...and easily accessible to other local areas. It really is a gem!

Aww that was lovely to see. I was sitting thinking I wonder if they still turn out all the lights in Kent’s cavern. 😂🤣. They do! We moved from Scotland to Devon. Hi again girls, just watching your raptor ride again and I'm wondering if they gave you a top speed check in the last part of the ride? they did on mine it was 68 mph, thanks again girls I have subbed you, all the best Lynne.
We were staying at Hoburne Devonbay (the end of the open top route) by the sounds of it the same time as you, but we were there 2 weeks. Good to see a great vlog of the area as not really any out there. With the weather the area is amazing.

The 122 is a really nice bus cuz you get the wind blowing in your face and you can see everything without a window in your face.
That's very true, we loved it!!
Hi again girls, just watching your raptor ride again and I'm wondering if they gave you a top speed check in the last part of the ride? they did on mine it was 68 mph, thanks again girls I have subbed you, all the best Lynne.
