How I Controlled Azalea Petal Blight.

The azaleas flowering at work this year have been amazing and I think I've stumbled across a 'fix' for the extremely cruel and unsightly Azalea Petal Blight.

Hi mate, it seems your azalea leaves are showing azalea lacebug! Thats why youve had so many issues with the flowers.
Everytime you close up on the foliage you can see black dots on the leaves and discoloration.
If you spray for lace bug they should do great!

I have a similar looking light whitish pink colored azalea here in my home in Kathmandu, Nepal.
I totally agree with you that lace bugs attack more when the summers are dry and hot
This year two of my azaleas were afflicted by caterpillars.
I never have had any problems with fungal disease.

I have large bumblebees on my azalea flowers every bloom time every year. Not sure if you have those in Australia?

If we do have them then they aren't interested in our azaleas.
