Hearing Plastikman (Sheet One!) was a gateway drug into electronic music for me and I've been listening to the whole field change and evolve for almost 30 years now. Never miss a chance to listen to a set by DJ Richie Rich. It's fun seeing his sound and his gear evolve over the years. Such an innovator. The drive, the absolute drive! behind his sets is always there. Much ❤ from Detroit!
@@mariopandza bullshit, he's been deep into techno, 2014-2016 he shifted, if you havent been to a modern JAK party, would you know? saw him play 8 hours in Detroit open to close with a towering quadraphonic sound system and it was deep dark techno, through and through. if you cant appreciate this set here, maybe you have some personal hangs up of your own, because this music is fucking cutting edge Mills space tech level.

Crazy, to have been listening to this man since I was about 14, to having him play one of my tracks at Timewarp 1:44:00 Absolutely wild to me, what a privilege. I was lucky enough to catch him in a tiny 500 person venue about 2 weeks before this. fucking insane.

i took off my headphone a lot of time listen to this set... the effects are incredible realistic and the ambience is very soft, btw the whole perfomance is very crazy, very cool to listen very loud.
Been lucky to have shared a few raves back in early 1993 & summer 94 this guy is one of the original members of the scene & has basically stuck to his techno routes for 30 years apart from a few spells of playing different genres. Ritchie Hawtin is a genuine artist with legendary status in the industry which is well deserved and I love his sets live he plays some amazing long sets. 👍🎚🎛🙌🕊🙌
