I'm pretty old so I'm not familiar with these new Filipino artists... but I just realized he is singing in the Cebuano language... Kudos!
He's a member of a Filipino boy group in the Philippines called SB19., the Ppop Kings!

Hi. Felip a.k.a. Ken is actually part of the biggest Pinoy Pop boy group in the Philippines now called SB19. They are dubbed as the P-pop Kings for being the first Filipinos to showcase Pinoy pop all over the world. They also sang the song MAPA (Mama+Papa) , which is a tribute to all parents or guardians who serve as our map in life. You may watch one of their performances here:

I never thought songs like these can be sung in Bisaya. I am from Cebu and can hardly speak Tagalog, although my surname is Tagalog. I am based in Muscat so I always speak in English and always switch to Bisaya when speaking to most Filipinos.
I am just so dang proud that this boy has brought Bisaya to the world. I have listened to all of his songs and now my playlist has nothing else but SB19 and their solos.

If I live in thd PHI...I will watch all Ken's concert...his voice is extraordinary. Ken's voice is such a stress reliever from my stressful corporate job.

In SB19's interview w/ Rolling Stone, there was a part where the host talked about a hard metal artist and song and Felip/Ken and Pablo reacted saying sumthing like 'woah that's hard'..they both apparently knew the artist & the song, and then Felip kinda made a lowkey death growl seemingly imitating the artist. And we've seen Ken do death growls a lot just for fun while rehearsing or doing stuff behind the scenes. He probably likes hard metal too; it's possible he had that metal phase too, who knows.
I really find Felip/Ken to be that kind of person and artist who appreciates and loves all things beautiful without pride and prejudice. Coz he seems to like all genres of music- from metal to rock to japanese rock to rap to hiphop to r&b to pop to k-pop to ballad to classics to really cute teen bop kind of pop. Even with fashion, he is known for his really cool badass fashion style but he also wears androgynous fashion and he would wear female clothes just coz they're beautiful and use feminine bags. Because he adores even the cutesy stuff, he appreciates sweaters with the power puff girls and anything cute on it.
I think this kind of trait like what Felip has is just beautiful and worth noting. Coz there are rock or metal artists or people who love rock or metal who hates cute pop coz it's corny, or maybe they don't hate them but they just don't wanna show it coz it's not cool; and there are people who love pop and just can never vibe with metal or hard rock. Ken just loves all of them and is not shy to show it.
He's one of a kind

Thank you for appreciating Felip's voice, because a lot of Filipinos do not, since we are used to singers who are belting. Voices with low register is underated here. I love his voice because he gives something new to the market where everyone else's sound the same.

Thank for all those comments . Felip once said that he hated his voice bec it’s too low and that he can not reach high range but Pablo encouraged him to develope a skill on how to present it .. and that’s what he did! Very unique indeed.

Ken is getting more recognition over the months since he started doing solo activities. I am thankful that A'TIN supports SB19's solo works. SB19 deserves all the love. ❤️
Based on his interviews, I think:
He sang a lot as a young boy but stopped because his voice got low. His family were musicians.
He became a hiphop dancer as a teen but also he was a rock/metal listener. He mentioned a lot of rock songs in an interview.
He later embraced his low voice when he became an SB19 member (as a vocalist and later honed his skills as a rapper)
Because initially pablo and josh were the main rappers.
He has a band in college. He stopped during high school. But someone invited him in a band in college . He sings and dance in college..watched his other nterview.

Felip also came from a family of musicians, he learned the guitar by himself without learning chords, he was south pawed during his early learnings, then educated himself the right way as he is now… he can play guitar, keyboards and drums… and still learning as of now… what a talented lad he is…
