Even if you don’t understand why Mindy is being emotional you have to try and be there for them. I loved the empathy/logic conversation!! It’s quite interesting how men and women operate differently. I am Agnostic. I have studied philosophy. I have studied logic within philosophy. My feelings and empathy is more like a passion for these subjects. Whatever you’re saying about your feelings is subjective. It doesn’t matter much too me. But i get it women who want to continue acting like children want to be coddled too. And whatever you offer isn’t right to them. If these women are mentally children, then they might need to be disciplined. Most people don't know what a narcissist is, and most people aren't narcissists. It's just a catchall that everyone uses nowadays. Only a small percentage of people are really narcissists. Everyone else just exhibits narcissistic traits every now and again. It's just normal.
Yes it's weird that the term is so commonly used for someone who just lacks empathy or is self absorbed. That is most people who aren't conscientious and/ stressed and are trying to cope.
@@spintowin5537 u can have narcissistic traits without being a narcissist. lack of empathy is huge with narcissism but its not the only symptom, u have to check most of them out in order to be one. and yes like u said lack of empathy can have many factors like alexithymia/poor emotional health while growing up etc. so the traits can overlap with other things but yeah its become kind of a buzzword nowadays. but all in all emotional intelligence is whats important and lacking empathy would make u worse at it so i get why it makes people weary.
