- Piper is one of the longest standing brawlers in brawl stars. She wasn’t one of the og brawlers in the game like shelly colt or nita, but she was the first brawler that was added after the initial beta release. As you all know at this point, she is an epic brawler who has low health but can deal massive damage. She was an extremely revolutionary brawler in 2017, and still remains unique in the current landscape of brawl stars due to her unique mechanic of her damage scaling based on distance. And with her being in the game since 2017, she has a very long and detailed history. So, in this video, we’re going to do a deep dive into the entire history of piper. From her balance changes, remodels, skins, and everything else, we’re going to cover it all.

Hey Everyone! Just thought I'd address something that I've been seeing pretty consistently throughout the comments.
In the video, I was pretty harsh when discussing auto aimer as being a pretty bad gadget. However, a lot of you seem to like it and so I decided to do some more gameplay testing and honestly it isn't nearly as bad as I made it out to be. So yea for those of you that prefer auto aimer over homemade recipe, I can completely understand why, and I apologize for trashing the gadget so much

I do like Auto Aimer more, but you forgot to mention how Calavera Piper has received it’s own unique attack effects
Forgiven. But anyways, did you know that it also gives her 0.4 ammo from snappy sniping? It's a really neat feature because sometimes it results in you getting that last ammo you need to get a kill 😉

As a Piper main, Auto Aimer is definitely the better gadget. Yes, Piper mains do know how to keep their distance, but sometimes it's unpredictable (Mortis, Tick Head, Cordelius, Leon etc) and it really helps + pairs up with Snappy Sniping.

Autoaimer>homemade recipe imo. The slow allows you to auto aim and secure a kill on most assassins.
fr home made recipe is only good on open maps but in any other map autoaimter is way better and with extra gadet gear she is way more better because of the knock-back

picking piper gadget is gamble, you may end up not using even one. with homemade recipe you at least can desperately throw your gadgets at enemies if you have some left

Took some inspiration from Thena's work. I was heavily impressed by what she's done and I made my own version of it since I also pursue psychology and I'm extremely fascinated with psychology myself. Along with other like 7-8 lines of text, but that's besides the point :P

also homemade recipe helps only around edges. But if youre a good aimer (which you should if you main her) then its useless. I never use it
as a piper main, i can understand why people may think that homemade recipe and that's totally valid, i use it too on certain maps, but i personally think that auto aimer is better as it just pairs so well with my playstyle, but both gadgets are good. And keep up the good work, this vid just made my day!
Piper's auto aimer gadget as gotta ve one of the most underrated gadgets in the game. It keeps enemies away and if you have the snappy sniping sp, it also reloads ammo wich is busted. You can basically become an assasin killer with this since if an assasin gets close to you you can just pop this and destroy them with like 5 shots.
It also allows you to use your super for miscellanious stuff like breaking walls instead of having to keep it at all times

First of all, I really liked the video. ❤ Buuuuuuut... Before I (almost) mastered Piper (I got her to gold II but I got distracted by Charlie haha) I would've agreed that her homemade recipe gadget is the best one, and for long range maps? Sure. If you don't have good aim it can get you those guaranteed 3-4 kills you need to win in wipeout or knockout. But... we're in the midst of an assassinpocalypse, my friend. Almost every game will have at least one assassin, especially Fang and Edgar. But with both Kit and Mico being introduced to the game, you can't escape them. To survive you need her auto-aimer gadget. So, while working on her mastery I worked on not relying on her homemade recipe gadget and getting kills the old fashioned way and... honestly? I'm not going back. I might still use her homemade recipe if it's Power League and the other team didn't pick an assassin but in ladder? Yeah, I'm only using auto-aimer. It's the only way to punish these assassins invading passive modes... especially since Edgar just has to use his super charging gadget (let's fly) to get his super right off the bat and jump on top of you before you can even land enough shots to charge your super. Just saying. Auto-aimer is underrated but now pretty much a necessity haha
As a main piper myself, i only use homemade recipe in wipeout, hot zone and some very especific knockout maps (waters of the doom). Auto-aimer it's the go to for all the other modes hahaha showdown, gem grab, futbrawl, etc
The best feeling with Piper is when you use your super, the Edgar thinks he's smart and uses his super and then you hit him with the auto-aimer gadget + snappy snipping starpower

As a piper main who uses Auto Aimer and Snappy Snipping, I gotta say the AA gadget is the best for piper. Went on a 3v1 (a team against me) and won just because of the AA gadget. (And the SS star power had a nice role too)
About her slight remodel to her and her pink skin, it refers about the gloves, they addes them after her remodel in 2019

Auto aimer is so good in this edgar, fang and other rusher brawler meta, when they jump/dash/whatever onto you, you can just super them, pop auto aimer, and kill them (especially with snappy sniping)

Great video, but like other people are pointing out, homemade recipe is great, but with the amount of assasins getting higher up in the meta, specially with the hyper charges, the auto-aim gadget is a must in a lot of maps/modes, having to face a fang in almost every match makes it a no brainer
as a piper main i'm so happy to see her being one of the best brawers rn, she's jsut soo fun to play when she's strong like now
also i think autoaimer is def the better gadget especially now when edgar and fang are everywhere

Theoratically, godlike piper players will need the auto aimer gadget more than HR gadget. Bc in high elo, even the best piper players get jumped by the best assassin players. Also, that gadget can heavily affect brawlers like edgar.

i would say that homemade recipe IS worse than auto aimer now. it's not a 100% chance to hit the shot anymore, making it only viable in open maps, and now with a meta where brawlers that need to be upclose are at the top, auto aimer is generaly better

About the moon and rabbit stuff, it’s pretty normal to see a connection because there is a connection. In some asian countries like China and Japan, moon and rabbit are often linked because it is said that the holes on the moon are rabbit-shaped and that created myths around it. Chang’e, the character which Lunar Piper draws inspiration from, is often represented with rabbits and all. So yeah, seeing some correlation between the 2 is pretty normal
on sep 10 2020 piper's main attack got reworked, if u look closely u will see that she used to shoot a big bullet with these like circles around it but now she shoots a normal big bullet
Yet another Piper main here! Like most Piper mains, I do prefer auto aimed to homemade recipe due to its use against close range brawlers. The new Piper mains that spam it, however, do make the game a bit annoying to play. There’s just been more times to use the auto aim gadget instead of the homemade recipe gadget. She’s been my go to since 2018 and that’s def not changing. Can’t imagine brawl stars without the best sniper in the game 😩😩

dont sleep on auto aimer, its really useful for getting assassins of your tail, especially in this meta- and it recharges some ammo with snappy sniping!
After making the video I realized that I kinda trashed on it too much lol. I definitely think that homemade recipe is still better but auto aimer isnt the worst thing in the world

Ok so in my opinion, auto aimer gadget is the better one. It works almost perfectly woth snappy sniping. You can use your ultimate offensively to jump closer to a running opponent, and kill them with snappy sniping. And if damage or heal isn't enough, just use the auto aimer gadget. Just my opinion though. (Don't jump me)

About the Lunar Piper skin:
In Chinese mythology the moon goddess Chang’e has a rabbit companion with her on the moon,
Sailor moon is based on the Moon rabbit hence why the skin feels reminiscent of her
Imagine her hyperchage breaks the game then she has to go through those 3 years of balance changes again
The 10/09/22 update just gave piper gloves cuz she didn't have any after the global remodel

@@jaco7592because was a power league skin, and all the power league skins disapear after the end of the season, and just comeback after a whole year (except for those of season 10 or before, those will never comeback). Mariposa Piper will comeback this year, right in march :)
As someone who grinded Power League and got the skin from it, I actually can't wait till it becomes available to everyone.

Auto aimer is BY FAR the better gadget especially for showdown. It allowed you to be more agressive with brawlers like edgar and primo and makes it much more easier to win.
