I’m trapped with an abusive husband who lied and betrayed me. We are barely keeping a roof over our heads so there are no resources for me to get away from this horrible situation. We have been together for 25 years, I discovered his betrayal about 3 1/2 years ago. I tried to stay, I tried to fix things with him, but he just wants to sweep everything under the rug and has only made the trauma worse with his continued emotional abuse. I don't see what good I'd do living homeless on the streets of Manhattan without my car..i mean, I'll go because I dont have any responsibilities a man should have which makes me feel left out.
