Hi! Love this dress. I’m starting on my wedding dress, and I am going for a top like this but wanted to add some boning for structure. Do you know of anyone has done that with this pattern ? Any advice? Thanks!
Any chance you will have an updated version with a layer option? I’m struggling with cutting out this pattern without a layer option. It’s basically a guessing game as to where the straps need to be cut since it’s a cluster of black 😩
This is absolutely gorgeous. I think I will remake the top as an everyday chord version to wear alone or over a turtleneck :)
How practical are the straps? For casual wear, should I move the back higher up so that the straps don't slip?
I didn't had any issues with straps slipping off to be honest :)
I love this top, but I would want a longer fuller skirt for a maid of honor dress. Do you think it would work well with a full circle skirt?
Also the bride chose a non-stretch cotton fabric. Do I still do the same steps? Or should I make a zigzag stitch all the hems before assembling the pieces or will it work the way you did? I haven’t been sewing for years and I want it to turn out as good as it can 😅
