Damn impressive.
Instead of the boiled hot glue, there is a product called Oyamaru. It's a thermoplastic that comes in little bars. You put it in boiling hot water, which makes it soft and malleable. You can then press it onto what you want to make a mold of. Let it cool down to room temperature and it's set.
Then you can use modeling putty or even resin to make your copy.
Best thing is that it's reusable. If you don't need the mold any more, you can put the Oyamaru back into hot water to soften it and use it to make another mold.
And it's fairly cheap. I've been buying it on Ebay and it's only about $8 Australian for 6 sticks.

@@kaishobbies9825 Blue Stuff is basically the same as Oyamaru, but in my experience, Oyamaru is cheaper.

Back in the 80s early 90s mini trucks were a big deal. The most used were the Toyota’s and the Mazda B2000. The thing I would love is when they would make the bed of the truck lift and dance around. Have you ever made a mini truck that would have the bed lifted?
