The AI likely didn't find the subtle clue that [REDACTED] does not have eyebrows, and AI that interprets text does not seem to have enough memory to store long term plot details, such as Harry being dead before the start of the chapter.

I highly doubt this since it pretty well known at this point that this story was actually written by a human imagining what a neural network trying to write a Harry Potter book would produce if it were really advanced. A real neural network trying to do this would most likely produce something totally incomprehensible.
Technically it was written by an AI, but a very rudimentary one with lots of human help. I’d love to see what a full neural network could create!
Whether it was written by an AI or a human, it seems that the attempt wasn't to write a story, but to write a parody with as many jokes as possible.
I heard that there is a formula AI can use to make jokes. So this would be easier for AI to undertake than to write a script for an actual story.
If it was AI, the jokes were computed perfectly. I haven't laughed like this in a long time.
