@@aaronw937 I really hope not. The speed in AC4/4A was only fun for a short while, but afterwards it showed a lot more flaws especially when it came to the quickboosting, and the negative effect said gameplay had on balancing and level design. The short time I played ACV showed me that they can do high speed without being spastic about it.
Hello, I’m watching all your videos. Thank for that. What hardware do you use? pad or other? You have a great aim to move the camera and follow your targets. At the stick of the ps3 controller I can't follow an enemy too close to me by turning quickly like you.
I love your videos, I finished this week armored core 4 by taking inspiration from your runs on each mission and it helped me a lot, thank you. I watched your run on Armored core vanilla and master of arena too. I am currently on For answer or I watch your run (colared ) and for the moment I manage to chain the S. Can you tell us how much time you spent playing games to get to this level of skill and memory to do each game at once?
My playthroughs are segmented. I've always been upfront about this. It means each video is typically dozens of separate recordings pieced together which are done sometimes over just a few days or a month depending on the game and my own enthusiasm in recording it. In Armored Core's case, I practiced each individual mission until I felt I understood the layout and had developed a correct approach to it. I then recorded the mission and moved on to the next one to repeat the process until the game was done. I got a little sloppy with this in Last Raven but I just don't like that game very much and wanted it to be over. I don't keep track of exactly how long each game takes in hours to record. I would guess it's anywhere from 2 to 20 times the duration of the video to collect the footage depending on the game. I've been doing this for around 5 years and I was pretty bad when I first started.
Missiles have always been strong in the series, if you can afford to spam them. It's probably the most busted in this version, though, since they removed passive core interception.
I do not care about what my AC looks like in mission, too. Just having the opportunity to dig this gem out again warmed my heart. Could you kindly give me a guide on how to set the emulator up?
The guide on RPCS3's website is pretty thorough. Keep in mind the requirements are fairly high if you want the thing to run smoothly and it won't run at all if you don't have a vulkan compatible GPU.
You know how all the problems with the console ports could be fixed? If they made the xbox360 version backwards compatible with Xbox one, and series x/s
That would require FromSoft to care about Armored Core and they just don't at this point, unfortunately. Microsoft announced they wouldn't be pursuing more backwards compatible games recently as well.
@@ry0usama511 No, but they actually announced another AC. It's FromSoftware's next game. My only concern is that they don't go back to roots and do something like.. Dark-Souls-Esque playstyles in Armored Core.
@@voxthesergal they announced, but I can't expect much since there's lack of news for so long, hope they proceed to enhance the gameplay and VOB on 4A instead of V
would you mind giving a quick rundown of the setting used for rpcs3? i played this game before, ran perfect. after an update, (no options changed in my custom configuration) it crashes on loading mission 1 =( not sure what happened. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
I recorded this almost a year ago and have since uninstalled everything but I'm pretty sure I just used the default settings. Try disabling the color buffers if it's crashing.
@@LookBackGaming that's what I did to get it to work in the first place and ot worked flawlessly. Then like I said update, then can't even get any mission to load. Idk. I'm currently tinkering with everything again. Thx for the reply tho
It was nerfed in earlier games yet balanced by this point but 1 this channel knows what they are doing and also if I’m not mistaken it’s something similar to the moonlight blade.
It works and doesn't work on a per mission basis. When recording this, I did full restart of the emulator between every mission and tested whether or not it worked. It was very tedious.
Damn, the intro animations look damn sick even for a game that came out in 2008. It is like Metal Gear Solid mixed with Ace Combat and Armored Core. 😍
🤡
I am obsessed with the movement in this game. I am very surprised nobody ever talks about them.
A lot of people talk about 4A ridiculous speed. It is what it's known for.
I hope AC 6 Fires of Rubicon takes this approach
I quite surprised that it can be master quite quickly when yiu get that Quick turn down then ye start to remove ye gun and put on blade
Same, this is the first time seeing it

Glitch glint glither💀🤩❤️🔥
ACFA is my most played AC game - this brought back a lot of memories! And you're much better at this game then I ever was!
Watching your Armored Core full walkthrough videos helped me a lot! I am getting A's and S's in every mission in ACFA.
Wow that was a short credits list. CG movie was great! Shoji Kawamori as guest designer!
It's been... a long time fellow Ravens... far too long.

you make it look so easy!
This is cool! What specs were you running RPCS3 with?

hmm whats the difference amongs the Ravens and a Lynx ?
The difference is that a Lynx pilots a Next, which is a much stronger AC.

the texture not messed up? how?
I second this. Ive been trying to fix the textures for a few days now to no avail. Did no issue with your NEXT's/mechs textures ever show up?
