Nigerian cuisine is known to be very hot/ spicy. Better to have a glass of water along with your meal. Palm oil if used in moderation and in a balanced diet is okay otherwise it can easily raise one's bad cholesterol. West Africans have been using it since time immemorial but they also eat lots of vegetables and mixed proteins.
