Some characters (or actors) always seem to forget that it's possible to do things left-handed. TWO characters on 'The Walking Dead' lost their right eyes, yet they continued to shoot right-handed.
This was my FAVORITE movie as a kid. For some reason in the late 80"s early 90's regular tv where I lived showed this movie at least three times a year. I recorded it, and watched it over and over again. Good pick.

You just made my day! I love this movie. Barbarian Brothers were indeed as wild and crazy in real life and they appeared on screen. Plenty of stories of their antics online from their days at Golds Gym in the 80s.
So much nostalgia wrapped up in this one; I 100% agree that playing up the over-the-top silliness was exactly what this movie needed. Fun and full of charm.

I love the look of those 80´s sword and sorcery movies. They all look magical to me, I don´t know why but recent fantasy movies don´t do the same for me.
my favorite modern fantasy is The Head Hunter (2018). although its very different from most fantasy movies since it has almost no dialogue (it's 'show dont tell' at its finest), it's grim af and slow as dirt. the trailer kind of makes it look like an action-horror with jump scares, although its a slow burning story of revenge and the loss of humanity. definetely better watched by yourself.

My friends incorporated the Barbarian Bros. into one of their DnD games, but they had forgotten their names, so they were Dar and Gar (not Kuchek.) The best line in that was when they defeated the dragon and come out on the other side of the cave, and comment how good it was their horses were already there waiting for them. "They knew by instinct we'd come out here."
This may be the best thing that i've ever seen. EVER. the movie with the two mains where they drive semi trucks is also great. A quote that has always stuck with me One says "S*it" the other says "F*ck", then in unison they say "S*it F*ck" lol.. for some reason that has always stuck with me since seeing it as a kid
I'd only ever seen Twin Sitters before. I'm not surprised to find out that the Twins weren't really "Acting" so much as just being themselves in a different setting.

I loved these 2 when I was a kid. Their energy on screen was so addictive!!! Their silliness always made me laugh so hard. I think it would have been amazing to party with them.
Mu cousin and I watched this on like a Sunday back in 99 or 00 and even though we made fun of the movie the whole time. We watched it from beginning to end. It's definitely worth the watch.
Growing up on Double Trouble and Twinsitters, I'm glad I have another Paul brother movie to add to the list. They're my quintessential so bad its great team & they truly look like they had a ton of fun with their shoots. Sad to hear about his passing, but they left us with some memorable gems.
There's a few videos of David Paul just being himself out in the wild (as well as a pretty crazy interview from years ago). To say that he was quite the character is a massive understatement.

I'd say the same is true of Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman. Not that's she's an especially bad actor ... just that no one even notices her acting, good OR bad, because she's so exceptionally nice to look at...

He was not "writing fantasy" for readers as an author, he was working as an anthropologist, reproducing mythos patterns.
Good bad flick indeed! It had Richard Lynch as the bad guy, a great musical theme by Pino Donaggio (how did you not mention that?) and the beautiful and very charming Eva La Rue.

I remember watching this a year or so after it came out on The Movie Channel. I was around 11 or 12. As a kid I thought it was pretty cool and loved the barbarian brother ever since seeing them in DC Cab. I instantly fell in love with Eva LaRue after watching this. To this day, she is one of my 80s crushes and still looks amazing today.
I whole heartedly think all of the funny goofy stuff they did where all their doing right there on the spot. This is how giving 120% looks like. Upscaling an otherwise boring standard 80's sandal movie to a goofy fun trip of the highest order. You think Sharknado is fun to watch just because of the titel? I raise you this masterpiece. If you are not going to laugh one time you are dead inside. You can increase fun time by taking a shot everytime they flex their muscles. Let's see how long you last.
