Some characters (or actors) always seem to forget that it's possible to do things left-handed. TWO characters on 'The Walking Dead' lost their right eyes, yet they continued to shoot right-handed.

This was my FAVORITE movie as a kid.
For some reason in the late 80"s early 90's regular tv where I lived showed this movie at least three times a year.

my favorite modern fantasy is The Head Hunter (2018).
although its very different from most fantasy movies since it has almost no dialogue (it's 'show dont tell' at its finest), it's grim af and slow as dirt.
the trailer kind of makes it look like an action-horror with jump scares, although its a slow burning story of revenge and the loss of humanity.
      definetely better watched by yourself.

Hiding in a pit to kill a dragon as it passes overhead is straight out of Norse mythology. It's how Sigurd killed Fafnir.

Yup...J.R.R. Tolkien also stole the idea from Norse mythology and used it in his novella "Children of Hurin"

@@caseygoddard Not to be pedantic (and I'm not even a fan of his literature), but Tolkien didn't "steal": he was reconstructing a lost mythos which, like all indo-european mythos shared elements with the surviving ones. He was not "writing fantasy" for readers as an author, he was working as an anthropologist, reproducing mythos patterns.

Good bad flick indeed! It had Richard Lynch as the bad guy, a great musical theme by Pino Donaggio (how did you not mention that?) and the beautiful and very charming Eva La Rue.

Original Himbos. And while they can't act, they are genuinely cheerful and goofy, so that comes across well.

I totally agree about all the Barbarian Bros films. Nobody makes movies with leads that just show up and have fun like these guys and Cheech & Chong.

I remember watching this a year or so after it came out on The Movie Channel. I was around 11 or 12. As a kid I thought it was pretty cool and loved the barbarian brother ever since seeing them in DC Cab. I instantly fell in love with Eva LaRue after watching this. To this day, she is one of my 80s crushes and still looks amazing today.

I whole heartedly think all of the funny goofy stuff they did where all their doing right there on the spot.
This is how giving 120% looks like.
Upscaling an otherwise boring standard 80's sandal movie to a goofy fun trip of the highest order.
You think Sharknado is fun to watch just because of the titel?
    I raise you this masterpiece.
If you are not going to laugh one time you are dead inside.
You can increase fun time by taking a shot everytime they flex their muscles.
